I am beyond disappointed in myself. My favorite band is Tool, been dying to see them live and in the middle of their most recent tour I found they were opening with Elder! A band I have been a fan of for years since randomly coming across dead roots stirring and also one of my favorites. They passed by my home city just a few weeks before I realized. Major bummer
Quite sure I've never heard this band before this video. Within just the 1st few seconds, I was blown away. I WILL be looking for more stuff by these guys very soon. Awesome!!!
It brings me so much joy reading the comments so many new people are finally discovering Elder & how many are blown away how incredibly gifted & talented this band is. Best band of the 21st century & it’s not even close.
Right? Been listening to Elder for the last 7 or 8 years, and finally got to see them open for Tool back in Jan. None of the people sitting around me had ever even heard of them before, but were all super into the music. In fact, everyone was really bummed that they only played a 30 min set, because they wanted to hear more. I really hope they keep getting more exposure, so that more people can enjoy their music.
Absolutely! Been a fan since summer of 2019; 'The Falling Veil' stopped me in my tracks and it's been a great journey through Elder's amazing music ever since. Having said that...holy fuckballs, this set ROCKS!!!
Elder is fucking unstoppable, this is a god-tier performance from one of the best bands of the 21st century. Pure art, a cosmic candle burning in the darkness.
I have listened to this shit non stop and I'm like "goooooddamnnnn" every single time. The falling veil live might be the best thing to ever grace my ears. New album slaps live too
While I remain aggravated that I didn't get the memo they were finally within thirty miles of me, the sound and picture quality are probably 400% clearer than my memories would have been. Or so I tell myself 😬 Thanks for preserving this all-killer/no-filler setlist for our repeated viewing delectation, btw
