The fact these bags can be faked and sold at a fraction of the price just shows how much the luxury brands are ripping people off. Yes quality and materials might not be the same but some dupes are pretty good. I’ve wasted so much money on designer bags and, as a 50 year old, could have bought another house or many HIDUPZ with what I’ve spent. My advice is to only buy if you can afford it plus other important things and don’t necessarily turn your nose up at a dupe!
Why is it so common for hair stylists to be scissor happy like this? It really feels like hater energy, sabotage. I stopped letting people cut my hair years ago when I discovered this and just do trims myself.
I have a question, By the way thank you so much for creating this video. My question for you is you know how your in a middle of a video and you creating a eyeshadow look and you want the camera to zoom in closer for your audience to see you create that eyeshadow look. How are you able to create that shot without getting up out of your chair? Is that something you do when you’re editing? I have always wondered the answer to this question and nobody has created a video on how to do this.
This happened to me today! Was so embarrassed to leave the salon. 😢 So hard to find a decent honest hairdresser. Like if you feel unsure on cutting textured hair then speak up!!!
I've been eyeing this bag for so long. So many RU-vidrs have a huge collection of bags and rave about everything to the point where I don't really believe what they say especially when they end up selling the bag and no longer showcase it on their socials. Makes me think it really wasn't a ride or die bag as they claimed. Seeing you still having and using it makes me feel more incline to purchase this bag now. Omg my stylist back in the day used to cut my hair without consent too! I never knew that happened to anyone else. And I’m just sitting in the chair letting it happen like it’s normal smh. My mom told me sometimes she’ll clip your ends but I wasn’t asking her to do it and she was doing way more than clipping. I was upset seeing like 3-4 inches falling down.
Hey sis, just happened to me. Guy did a great job first time around. This time I asked for a trim, he pulls a washed-and-shampoo'd-straight curl with about an inch of scraggle and says "like this?" I say "yes thank you I just want the ends cleaned up" and before I know it I've got a puff afro, no ponytail, and he's like "you dont want me to blowdry it out??" I'm just like "nah we good, I'll take care of it from here brah......" sigh, another year to grow all that back to where it was. At least I have a chsnce to take better care of the ends and any thinning (age, stress).
I can relate, I just had this happen after having it look so nice. Literally heartbreaking and it’s nice to see you understand. The “Shirley temple” had me 💀 pray for my hair to grow faster
This is how I ended up doing a big chop that I wasn't ready for. I went in to my mom's hairdresser and asked her to trim off like 2 inches of damage cuz I didn't want it short. She was cutting and I was like damn that a lot. She left me with 2 inches :) I want home and cried. I grew my hair out and never processed it or put heat in it again. Never went back to her either. It's been 6 years and my hair's down to my waist now.
Exact same thing happened to me 3 weeks ago. Came for a trim, left with a big chop. I cried but I stuck my hair in mini braids because I couldn't handle the contrast difference
So annoyed I agreed with my stylist that the dead ends were coming off. She was all about it and then she flipped my hair round and it was all off. I look like a mushroom
Same happened to me . She knew exactly what she was doing . My heart and intuition said she did it on purpose. Two weeks later she posted a picture of her growth of her own . I was upset because she felt like since I have a different texture it will grow fast . Basically tried to gaslight me . I told her I wanted only bangs . When I left her I couldn’t put it in a ponytail. I wanted to punch her so bad . I know she did it on purpose because she’s been trying to grow hers out . I don’t even have the confidence to wear my own hair .
Fact is that people are not trained to manage our diverse hair textures and curl patterns. They also attribute euro standards of hair health and look at our texture as “damaged” and they are professionally obligated to balance hair health with client satisfaction. I hate that some talk you through that and still give you the ultimate choice while others make an assessment even if erroneous and big chop. It’s a cultural insensitivity in my personal opinion. Not understanding the time it takes for curly hair to see length and assuming that texture is “unhealthy”
I'm glad I found this video, I don't play about my natural hair. Because I'm going to get my hair dyed and end cut a little, and I express a little bit. And I'm definitely asking for a damn mirror to watch. We grow our natural hair for healthy, and most of all, the length it already shrinks on its on. Thanks for sharing 👍🏽

Your fine this has been a really big help but I have one question when filming a make up video with your mirror on the side do you get side profile of you putting on make or full face and should your lighting and camera be in front or back of you I’m clueless I’m sorry… but thanks for the video 😊
Currently crying bc the same thing happened to me last week. Went to someone i trusted (known my hair for 10+ years) and she got scissor happy. I was so upset when i saw how much hair was gone ,especially since I’d been fully natural for 4 years and it took me a while to except my new hair and look. Now i feel like I’m back to square one with loving my hair and self again and it sucks! But it’s hair it will grow back
