I liked them very much, however, I have since installed a custom built 2-into-1 long pipe from CMP Motorcycles as I had pumped it up for performance with a Wood 22ex cam and increased fueling. I think for the money, the S&S are very good slip-ons for the price.

Those are beautiful pipes that sound Bad Ass.. Equally Bad Ass Bike all around.. I'm waiting on mine for a 124.. I love how the stainless colors after break in.. Definitely stands out in a good way. Not sure how loud Mike has made mine for my heritage, but will soon find out. Thanks for this video and your thoughts . You are the only one who has taken the time to upload a sound clip of this exhaust, which is truly a work of art IMO..

I had some great footage that is now lost forever from my trip to Arizona on the Grizz where I was able to demonstrate the value of being able to turn on the front motor to climb a slope. Its a fun and well built bike, I hope you enjoy yours.
I have a set of these with rinehart slimline dual headers and the redshift 468 cam.They are rumbly and are a tad more raspy than i like with db reducers in. With them out they are more thunderous. I got the slimline header before they made them only available in the kits with cat the equipped mufflers. Thats the key for getting the harley sound we all like the cat dosent seem to affect power as much as sound. You can hear these mufflers echo when you rip on them further away too of course the air moving through with redshift cam is a big factor.

I'm wanting to upgrade the stock Grizzly headlight w the Polar Bear Spider Eye & also some new tires probably the Vee Huntsman or something similar will see 700 plus miles & stock tires are wearing thin. Anyway your bike looks great & perfect for the type of riding you do. Keep the jokes coming, we need it👍
I put the bubble gum liners (aka Tannus) and it seems like they're a bit out of balance, but I'll take that over a flat from a goat head any day. I'm heading up to the property in Northern Arizona, will be brining 2-Talarias with me so I'll get back to some content soon. Thanks for the comment. 👍
There's a similar bike trail where I live. It's 10 miles along the Columbia River. When I ride the Grizzly on it, the bike is amazing & handles w ease. I found I pedaled it more just to slow down & take in the sights. What an awesome bike! 27 mile trip & still 30 mile range left on display. Nice video 👍
I’m in the 50 state pipe state too. By taking the DB reducer out did you lose any torque or power? What about tune? Is it too lean ? Are you happy with them ? I just got a ROAD GLIDE ST and these are the slip ons I want to use. Thanks
Mufflers came without db reducers so I cannot differentiate, however it did feel a bit less torquey compared to stock muffs. They burned it quickly and are now produce a very nice rumble and roar. I think the stock tuner has compensated for any changes in back pressure as they perform fine, or I'm used to the difference. Over all I'm very pleased with them and might miss the low rumble as I'm preparing a few upgrades, throttle body, cam and 2-into1 CMP custom made exhaust with tune. Upgrades should be louder and grumpier. :)
