Hi Dr I've a 10.6×7.8cm adnexal cyst and it's sometimes little painful or discomfort and Dr suggest me to go for surgery but I want to go for a second opinion as I'm so afraid of surgery and after effects. What you suggest me
Hello Dr, I have 10.6 × 7.8 cm adnexal cyst and Dr suggests me the removal of cyst. But I'm so afraid of surgery and after complications at this age of 24. Can there be another way to treat or it can go away on its own. Also can it harm to ovary or tube. With this much bigger cyst can I continue to do exercise or not?
Did mine 4weeks ago had a myomectomy and they took out 16 fibroids God has been faithful in my healing. Some times i get tired but i rest as much as possible i know my fully healing is close. I documented my journey on youtube as well to help anyone about to go through this.
I am having my uterus and fallopian tubes removed in about 10 days, due to fibroids and adenomyosis, I do want to keep my cervix, I always had a normal pap smear. I hope I made the right choice to keep my cervix.
It's probably going to be OK. I recommend removal of cervix for adenomyosis incase you have cyclical spotting in the future (due to glands in the cervix).
This is exactly what happened to me at the age of 26. I got dismissed after I complained of spotting and discharge continuously. I wore sanitary towels for 7 months straight until I was rushed to hospital for heavy bleeding, severe pain and low iron levels. That was when I got taken seriously. I had to do an MRI scan and they found that one of my fibroids was indeed pushing through my cervix. After the surgery, I felt relieved because I wasn’t going through that horrendous pain anymore but unfortunately, I’m back to heavy and painful periods again. Wish they would just go away!! 😢
Where do you pee then is it the first or second hole I was always told the first hole is the pee hole and the second is the vagina but I pee from the second
Black American women are more likely to develop fibroids compared to Caucasian women Why? said science. Fibroid are cause by spiritual husband - Religious Man. 🙏 But in the Name of Jesus Christ, what ever God has not planted in your body they melt out now in Jesus Name. @deeperPrayers

Thank you for the video. I have my laparoscopical surgery scheduled next week for a 5cm cyst. How do doctors determine whether to remove the ovary with it or not? Thank you.
Hi, thanks for your video. Yet, I would like to know more. What about the cause of the fibroids, some side effects while heaving a IUD (like a headache) and after removing it, how our body reacts? If I understood correctly, Progestin (the artificial hormone of Progesterone) is not the same thing as Progesterone that our body needs. Basically IUD is just a patch of the problem but not a solution of the root of the problem (fibroids i.e.)? Thanks you. Best regards, Monika
When you remove the IUD, you will get a small period. Progesterone IUD causes bloating and breast tenderness for some but most people tolerate it really well.
Even after insertion of Harmonal iud…. I got my first period for about 18 days and from 19 days it got heavier .. … so got to use birth control pill …. May I know what would be the reason … I have intramural fibroid…..
I have alot of pain and these damm drs don’t listen to me . Mine is heterogeneous left adnexal mass and it’s 4.5 cm and I also have 2 small cysts and a fibrode . I am sick of these Drs . I found a holistic obgyn and she’s ordering a mri since we already did the ultrasound internal and external . I most likely have a tube that is contorted . I am in massive pain I went from dancing 3 days a week to unable to get out of bed
Hi doc. Can calcification cause body odor? I had UFI done in Dec 2019 and in 2020, ppl will not stop coughing around me, spitting near me, etc. Before that, I never experienced that. I went to the ER and they said they’re calcified, but no one said they were infected. What would cause them to smell so bad? It’s very hard to go outside when people spit so close to me, make comments, etc. I just want to stay in at this point. It’s like a curse that ppl enjoy except for me. I’m turning to YT because I’m in this alone. Thanks.
One very important thing to know about this laparoscopic procedure is that CO2 gas will be added into your abdominal cavity to help to open up the area for easier view for the surgeon. The trapped gas post surgery was very uncomfortable for me. It hurt too much to lie flat due to the gas sensation in my front shoulder area. The gas tends to move up into the shoulder area post surgery. I couldn't sleep at all the second and third night after surgery due to the discomfort. A woman on youtube video suggested blowing into a straw, into a glass of water for several minutes every hour to relieve the pressure. I tried it, it worked and I was able to recline in my bed with pillows propped under my knees and get a decent nights sleep. I'm 66 years old and had an ovarian cyst removed, one ovary and both fallopian tubes last month. I felt very nauseated a couple hours after sugery. Threw up a bunch of times but there was nothing in my stomach to throw up. First day I was buzzing from all the drugs and slept. I took one oxycodon the 3rd day. A couple of ibuprofin but found I didn't really need any pain medication. The gas sensation was the most uncomfortable and I got that resolved. I was walking the first day and could cook simple necessary tasks. Going to the bathroom was fine. No constipation. I regularly have a small cup of fermented miso soup before meals and that really helps. My eyes got extremely dilated for many days. Had to wear sunglasses. I assumed it was the drugs being worked through my system. I was weak but feeling okay. Walked outside. I didn't drive a car until the second week and was shakey and sobbing when I attempted to do a quick errand. I spent some days crying uncontrollably. I really needed more TLC support then I had anticipated. Even though it was a more simple procedure it was a big deal for me. I went through alot and wished I had known to schedule more emotionally supportive friends. Some people are great at being present, others not so good. My surgeon said I would be good to go in a few days. Ha! Not true. I had planned to take one week off, I'm a family daycare provider for small children. I took another week and wanted to take 3 or 4 weeks off total because I felt like I was in a fog, very emotional and physically vulnerable and weak. One thing that really helped me was essential oils because it brought me out of the fog. I ate very well, smaller meals of mostly vegetable soups and easy to digest proteins. My belly still feels bloated one month later but it gets better every day. I also took flower essences, Mariposa Lily essence to help me feel nurtured by the mother. And that really helped me alot. I am very thankful I had the surgery. The simple, benign cyst had been there for a long time and was becoming debilitating to my life. Though I was nervous to have the procedure the hospital staff were all great, so caring and confident. I knew I was in good hands. A very postive experience. I am choosing to see the whole experience as a Rebirth. Feeling how my body is adapting to having parts removed. I've been on bio-identical plant based natural hormone replacement for about 10 years and may need to up my dosage. It's difficult to find medical professionals who know much about menopause. I like Christiane Northrup's books on Women's Health. She includes alot on the emotional and spiritual aspects as well as the physical/biochemical aspects. I would like to support other women who are undergoing similar experiences.
Does the cyst reoccur? I am an athlete but I am scared it will reoccur as somewhere I read it gets triggered by physical or psycological stress. Its meen 4.5 months post surgery.
Hi Doc, I am scheduled for partial hysterectomy in a month. I have multiple fibroid and cyst on one of my ovaries. My question is will I gain weight after the surgery, there are some videos claiming that increase in cortisol levels and decreased estrogen causes weight gain after hysterectomy. Wanted to ask you if this is a fact. Also, after the surgery will I have side effects, if so what are they?? I am 40 and my question is will have hormonal issues? Thanks
Mam i had a open myomectomy in January. Now Four months after the operation and still bleeding continuously, could this happen? 32 years old, single. The doctor prescribed meds to slow down the bleeding and told me to do a scan after that.
Been there done that and this was so painful. I was barely able to get out of bed, my right lower abdomen was so swollen and tender to any movement. The initial pain made me throw up. The surgery was not bad and I felt so much better in a short time. Thank God for modern medicine. I can’t imagine how many poor women in the past may have died from this.
What would cause heavy bleeding with no diagnosis of fibroids cancer or endo? Very confusing. I have very heavy periods but none of the above. My uterus is larger than most. I'm scheduled for a total hysterectomy in a couple weeks. They're leaving my ovaries. Also wondering in these situations where there's no formal diagnosis as to why the heavy bleeding can the surgeon tell more when they operate? Do scans miss things?
I have brca 2 . Recommended is removing ovaries and tubes. I have uterine fibroids, so my doctor wants to take my uterus. That is fine. But i want to keep my cervix. And i dont feel like i should be made to feel guilty about it.
Hi doctor! I’m 21 weeks pregnant with a 15cm fibroid, it’s not in babies way at all or obstructing growth for now, but it’s there. 2 days ago I started experiencing contraction like cramps, I would feel it coming, they would get into a “pain peek” and go away to just return 20 min later and do it all over again. I visited doc the very next day and he didn’t do a scan but did say pain is due to fibroid and that they would just keep an eye on it. Since then the pain has subsided by about 80% and I feel much better with more water intake, but now that I see some of your videos it looks like I’m going through degeneration. Does this mean it won’t grow larger? Is it a good sign for the fibroid process? (I know it’s an issue sometimes with delivery) but when should I worry during degeneration? Bleeding perhaps? I’m not experiencing that praying I don’t
❤ Thank you. I found your channel today. I have no emotional support network and today had an ultrasound to find out what was wrong with me. So today has been hard. It turns out my uterus is "bulky" and has "fibroids". So I have been googling all night to learn more. I have also been crying. I have had a bloated belly for 10 years. I am 55 but now have trouble passing stool. (It comes out like toothpaste) so I rectal examined myself 2 weeks ago and felt a big lump pushing onto my rectum. I have all the symptoms of fibroids but never put them together as a medical condition. I was body shamed by my husband and even strangers because of my belly. I have since divorced but in 2012 my belly started growing and it ended our intimate life. It affected my personality. So instead of thinking it was medical, I have tried all sorts of diets. The belly remained through it all, and the other symptoms I put down to a prolonged menopause. No doctor ever mentioned fibroids. So it was a shock today to learn a new word. The ultrasound lasted an hour. She did every inch of my abdomen. She said she was sending the report to my doctor. So now its a 5 day wait to find out more. I am totally in the dark but God has been good. A few days ago some books on the rosary helped me establish a daily prayer routine. Because I have no family or friends who are emotionally involved in my life, to have the rosary is a lifeline. Despite my tears, I have something to hold onto. I look forward to watching more of your videos and learning more.
