Travel and all things related. Explore "how-to" when your away from home. It's my everyday life here in Thailand. Currently, I live in Nakhon Pathom. Located outside of Bangkok city center just to the west. Sometimes I want to go to a "tourist" spot and see the best of what Thailand has to offer. Sometimes I like a road trip to explore the region. Sometimes I drive into Bangkok to play pool and have drinks. Sometimes I stay local and relax at a café. I have no idea what I will do but I will take you along and make a video about it for you to see! My goal is to become a full-time immersive experiences travel vlogger and showcase authentic interactions. It is my dream to explore new places, see new cultures, experience new foods, and meet the locals to make new friends worldwide.
Congratulations time Paul , good to have at least one firm job offer that none 👍 I duck at the buy a coffee so have to wait a few weeks and meet in person 😊 It is disappointing how a foreign man can live in Thailand paying tax, etc and in some ways Thailand gives nothing in return.
The Makro Man cometh 🐄 . Beware bovines. Shirt getting looser a good sign. Wan humor is great, thai smiles from your partner are adorable and no calories 😊
My dude! Awesome video and congratulations on starting your weight loss journey. You're not alone in this journey, lots of us guys out there about the same age and weight as you are eager to follow along and see your progress.
@@JosefGonzo thank you so much for the words of encouragement. I appreciate it. I'm still doing good so far. Thanks for the comment and welcome to the channel!
Remember, there are tuna steaks, swordfish steaks, and pork steaks. But, mostly steak is red meat cut into 1/2"-3" thick slabs. Cow= Beef, Baby Cow=Veal, Pig=Pork, Sheep=Mutton, Baby Sheep=Lamb, Deer=Venison, Chicken=Poultry, when you're eating them.
@@mistermister5560 this was not normal price, this was discounted almost out of date but yes, maybe cheap at regular price compared to your home price. Thanks for the comment brother.
This is an extremely difficult question to answer because there are so many variables. My situation, lifestyle, and where I live will NOT be the same as yours perhaps. So hard to pinpoint an exact answer to this question. I suggest you watch my rent video, the utilities video, my shopping, my night out video where I talk about ALL these normal everyday expenses and you'll definitely get a better idea. If you really want a number ....coming alone and socialize slightly = 2k USD a month. A family to support and nice things and always going out + 2,500 a month USD.
@@IDKThailand Thanks so much. I realize that monthly expenses are very dependent on the individual. I will check out your other videos for more information.
@@mikehunt5637 If you want to share your situation maybe I can throw you a better number. Alone, how long, go out a lot, eat out a lot, travel, take some girls for company, idea location to live, will get a car or motorcycle ???? Etc etc etc.
Drink half-gallon of water every day. Skip breakfast. Light lunch. Dinner before 6pm. No food after 6pm. Weight will fall off even if you do not exercise.
I think thats about what my routine has been turning into. Slightly different, very small breakfast and lunch and then some dinner ( nothing crazy). Still working on getting enough water. Thanks for the input and welcome to the channel.
nice of you to show us, how you live, I spend more here in Isan, living in our own home, with family, I like to move out, I pay for all the maitenes they live for free, I am sick of it. 10000 I spend more on beer than 15000 month!
What about your morning coffee are you having an issue with? I drink coffee daily. Drink it with either heavy cream or even half and half. If you like it sweet I HIGHLY recommend erythritol. It’s my favorite sweetener. My litmus test is if I can eat a tea spoon of sweetener straight up. Splenda is disgusting. Others are even more so. Erythritol tastes like less sweet sugar. Alternatively try allulose. It’s made out of figs and it’s also a sugar alternative you can have on carnivore. I haven’t had any issues with either. The toilet problems will pass. Brain fog will clear. You’re going through a mild case of keto flu. Eat slightly more salt and you’ll get through it in a week or so
My coffee is the biggest sacrifice so far! (Crying) Now, just coffee and a couple scoops of powered milk. I used to use Equal. My issue with the Erythritol is that there has been a lot of news lately that there are direct links to increased risk of heart attack, stroke, blood clots .. all not nice things! I will check out Allulose. I hate the taste of salt but trying to adjust .. i'll try harder! TY so much for the help and suggestions, I really appreciate them!
@@EvralTatum-Mcfield-ov2mi short answer is yes, longer answer is that it depends on where you are looking or what exactly your looking for. But it is do-able for less than 275 usd a month.
Maybe I didn't show in the video because the arrived so late but on the second (upper) level there was a "cross country" type van with their tent that partially attached to the van ... so yes, it is an option there! Thanks for the comment and welcome to the channel!
@@IDKThailand I am leaving from Phuket to Bangkok next weekend going for a car camping trip to Bangkok and back within 9 days, if you have anywhere to recommend for car camping please let me know, it is my first time
I could only recommend that particular campsite because we bought the tent specifically to go camping that weekend, it's the ONLY spot I have camped in Thailand so far. But, I can tell you that the area is surrounded by camping sites because it is close to Erawan Waterfalls, National park, and the River Kwai. Its a beautiful area with lots to do! Sorry I couldn't offer more in this particular case. Let me know how you make out!
Its a start 👍😊 I never drank much water my entire life however thats me. Did drink a lot black coffee and green tea. I always remember told it takes a body 3 months to adapt and it seems true on my experience.
Ohhh i hate water!! and NOW i hate my coffee! (crying) but I look at my coffee cup and tell it " YOUR NOT MY BOSS!!" .. I have to master what goes in and mind over matter and all that good stuff .. but it still sucks!
@@DontPaniku OMG, that's so weird, I'm not sure if you joking or not??? Hope I don't get Frank's toe pain! 😆 Thanks for the comment and welcome to the channel.
@@IDKThailand Wish I was kidding. Make sure your watching Dr. Ken Berry, and Dr. Anthony Chafee on youtube. Even if you mess up don't worry about it. Just get back on the wagon the next day.
Thanks for the compliment about the video. No, no jacuzzi, maybe you seen the "kiddie pool" side I think. Thank you for the comment! Welcome to the channel. This place is close to Bangkok so about 2.5 hrs from pattaya.
Carnivore diet works. I lost 80 pounds in just a few months. My blood work went from a mess to perfect, including my cholesterol sugar and fatty liver enzymes. best of all I don’t feel like I’m starving myself. I eat whenever I want and as much as I want until I’m full.
Hot sauce is absolutely fine. Diet Coke is absolutely fine once in a while as well. dairy is absolutely fine as well as long as it’s full fat. I eat cheese all the time.
Be careful with those barbecue pork skewers. They are covered in sugary sauce. Instead, I make waffles out of eggs, cheese, and ground pork skin. They freeze well and you can make sandwiches on them for breakfast.
@@YM-NY wow! Congrats, that's so great !! Tell me, did you eat a lot of Pork and Chicken or only beef? I haven't been able to eat a lot of beef lately. I'm afraid I am doing everything not perfect.. I am trying so hard.
9 months in on my carnivore journey and I feel 20 years younger and my weight has plunged 400--->266. And you know a lot of it is water weight that had my whole body inflamed. And that's a good thing!
@@shellysmith4369 do you mean 400 lbs to 266 lbs?!? No way!! 9 months in .. congrats, awesome job! I'm running into a problem here, I'm eating a lot of leaner meat (chicken mostly), I just can't afford beef right now . I'm so broke this month 😔. But next month I'll be sure to load up on beef. What's been the biggest lesson you've learned so far ? Thanks for the comment and welcome to the channel.
@@IDKThailand I eat mostly beef, eggs and butter. Make sure I get lots of electrolytes. After a month or so and the craving subsided a new mindset kicked. I only put in my face hole what is needed to live and thrive. Things my body can't produce on it's own. I have energy (fat) packed on me to last for a year. I only ingest protein, fat, vitamins and minerals. If I feel hungry this is what my body is asking for not calories.

@@alexbambam1 hey Alex! Thanks for the comment and encouragement. I'm sure my numbers would read like a bad nutrition label (3 parts sugar + 8 parts carbs + 7 parts unpronounceable ingredients). My plan is to get started and fine tune as I go along.
Congratulations 👏 I think the important thing is you decided to loose weight and took action. Lots of different thoughts on meat or no meat and on it goes ... for myself it was more about replacing the more obvious foods of sugar , etc that all agree is bad, and I was full on good food I replaced the bad food with. Next was not eating between meals and considering no breakfast to love of my fat, if your body is ok with that. Then can have the broccoli debate 😅 ... oh, the alcohol and pastries still call me I just pretend I am deaf to those insulin spikers 😊 Take care future string bean 👍
Thank you for that! Future string bean - hahahaha I am 100% sure no one will EVER call me that in my life time! I haven't "gone out" yet ..that may be a struggle with not drinking anything while out socializing. I haven't really been tempted yet, Wan eats snacks in front of me everyday, but I just started so " the force is strong with this one". I'm ok for starting new things, it's the long term commitment that's always been an issue for me.
@@IDKThailand It ain't easy, it may bcome easier over time? Anyways, I am not a doctor so really cannot advise too much at your weight other than you seem to have a good grasp and great attitude starting 👍
Thanks for sharing! The marinade has most likely lots of sugar in it. If your goal is loosing weight, don't eat much fat. Because to loose weight with Carnivore or Keto, you will burn your own fat instead of the glucose/sugar. And skip breakfast and late meals.
I'm still adjusting and learning. I'm still seeing what my body is doing to this significant change. Biggest thing I have noticed so far is now I go pee so often!
@@IDKThailand That's a good start! You will start pee often when you start loosing weight/fat since fat is mostly made of water. That is also the reason it is important to get enough electrolytes/salt to replace the salt you also loose.
It is a HUGE adjustment! What is even bigger for me is that I now drink my coffee with NO sugar or Equal!! Now just a touch of powdered milk.. it sucks bad but with progress there has to be sacrifice.
@@IDKThailand good list 👍 Headed to your neck of the woods from Canada mid October. Yup, included is bringing her a hoodie from Canada to wear in the sun 😊 Wishing all well with you and loved ones 🙏
