I was hoping Asda would improve after the sale but my store is even worse than it was before. Fewer staff lots of empty shelves. Not only that the prices of just about everything has increased significantly.
We can all learn a great deal from the Issa brothers both as successful businessmen and as genuinely modest human beings. ASDA was the only real competitor to Eurogarages left in UK on fuel pricing. Pity our policy makers are not as capable, well done Zuber and Mohsin.

It's a heavily leveraged buy-out! The core fundamentals of a business, or its new investment strategies, regardless. The food matket is in decline, and consumers are constantly looking for bargains. Outlook to repay this debt is a massive haul. Words really don't justify the strategies in which the current markets are going.
update since this video 2yrs ago sharesave gone most off asda top brass gone including Roger who they talk so fondly off!! the first thing they did was sell our depots and lease back raising money to actually buy Asda... talking of merging Asda and EG something they said they were not going to do here.....sold 415 properties in the US to again raise 1.5 bill then rent them back looking to do the same with Asda properties.. hours cut in stores... 8 hr contracts the new norm .. reduncancys across the stores .... this is not investing this is asset stripping to lower their huge debt and this debt is rising all the time i call them the Iffy brothers

Asda are breaching our human rights here in Bristol. We have been treated so poorly by Asda Bedminster and they continue to forced and lower our living standards.
