you should look in to a new light bar. All the led on one side should flash with your signals. I think you'll find the dead ones are covered by warrenty

Thank God I moved out of PA to a state where this isn't required. Yes I keep my car up to date on maintenance but the inspection program immisoins is a rip off and nothing but a revenue generator

@@HeyItsKayJayBae Unfortunately this is true in some instances. I do all my own work on my cars. When I Iived in PA I had to take it to a shop for them to do the inspection. I use to play dumb and pretend I didn't know anything about cars to test the shop doing the inspection on it. A few times I've had a mechanic tell me I had no brake pads when I just replaced the breaks myself. Immagine what they do to customers who are not car knowledgeable. It's a racket. There are no audits or oversight on the shops doing these inspections. I'm not saying all shops are shady but there are the bad apples out there.

Hi I have a 1994 4700 serie. The cluster is quite same as on this video. Everything on it is working fine except the engine temperature meter. Any idea Why ? Is it a fuse problem ?
can anyone chime in on this? vehicle is a 1992 international, parking brake light doesn't work. oil/water light doesn't work, both bulbs have power to circuit board but may not grounding, does anyone have a pinout of the back of the cluster so i can check the ground? customer is also complaining that lights will blink with the turn signals.
I can understand for safety of cars and trucks. Why the hell do we need the states to tell us to fix our cars? We as car owners should know when it needs fixed not the state. It’s like we need a babysitter to make sure we stay on top of our vechicles. Me for one know what needs fixed or if I feel something isn’t right to get it fixed.
I did this repair, now almost 3 months ago. The cluster has not done the "crazy Ivan" thing since. I don't know about everyone else here but my circuit board was made in Mexico and the solder flux they used was terrible, stunk bad and interfered with resoldering. I cleaned it with "brake clean" spray and small wire brush. That got most of it. But on some solder points I had turn the board upside down, heat the solder to melt then tap the board against my work bench to remove that solder. Then add fresh - good solder. Seriously -- this works. Thanks Carsandtrucks33.
You could have still put another strap on the passenger side tire. And where was your safety chain bro? Here in NC, DOT would have had a field day with that one. Not trying to talk sh**, just trying to help out. What about the straps for the vehicle on the bed?
I appreciate this Video, it pointed me in the right direction, ready to try my hand at soldering I unscrewed two Phillips head screws, and tried to disconnect the cluster so that I could remove it, then I thought to try turning on the Engine, just to see if the rpms would work, it did, I"m ready for a State Inspection. I got pulled over for bad inspection. I'm a father of 2. Work full time I need 4 new truck tires and a weld on my exhaust. Truck tirees cost alot. I am paying rent plus all the bills. Plus food and stuff for my kids. I can't afford tires... My truck is not fallinh apart it looks and drives fine. I made a payment plan I couldn't afford to pay 2 payments because a single father with rent and bills is hard enough. So now they suspended my driver license... Now I had no way to go back and forth to work. That's the only time I drove anyways.. I had no choice loose my job my house. Or still drive on suspended DL. Well I got pulled over for 1 plate light out.. Still had another one.. Not I'm looking my DL even longer my work is not on a bus route. I have been working their 9 years now I have to quit my job loose my nice house I will be homeless loose my kids because they don't have a roof over their heads.. All because of a inspection sticker! Think about that.. Its impossible for a single adult to live with one income and add kids on to it.. Plus the cost of driving is bullshit. I'm not on drugs I'm a good person. Now I'm looking every thing over A STICKER!

It's so hard to get back on your feet when authorities take away your driving privileges over petty bullshit... How are we supposed to get money to pay all of Their fines if we can't get back and forth to work?
I'm in the same boat as you brother and it is very very hard.....Just got a second ticket in a week for stupid bullshit....I can't afford them, I can barely afford groceries and now gotta worry and deal with this bullshit because the state police recently lost their big old fund from penndot when during a recent audit, it was found that penndot gave the state police over 4.8 billion dollars out of the fund that was supposed to go to fixing these god awful roads around here......I'm so tired of the bullshit I give up already
I have a tow light 4 pin transmitter plugged into my tow truck but no tow lights with a receiver. How do i make the receiver that would tell the tow lights I'm braking or turning?
