Another easy ‘hack’ is to just make buttermilk! Put whipping cream in a blender til it goes Thunka Thunka and turns into butter. The leftover liquid is buttermilk.
I always have buttermilk on hand for my biscuits and waffles 🧇 and pancakes 🥞 and I know that trick to make buttermilk. But thanks for letting the novice cooks know ..
It's safe to eat at 125 if it stays at that temp for more than a minute. I've been eating salmon at that temp for years. It's even safe to eat raw if you buy the right salmon.
@@DinnerandaSide if there’s a ‘power level’ button on your microwave you can adjust the strength! My microwave even has a ‘soften’ option where you select how many sticks of butter and then it softens it for you-but that’s too fancy for me sometimes lol. Putting it on 25% power level for 15 seconds at a time and checking in between can soften it for you without melting it fully
