I saw POTO when it opened on Broadway in 1988. I was in the nosebleed seats and Michael Crawford's performance reached out to all of us. He was absolutely amazing!

What a legend Michael Crawford is !! I used to watch Some mother's do ave em with my son and now we still say things from the show !! God Bless you Michael!!!!!
It looks like he still had his full younger sense of humor in 2001, and still could have done an episode of some mothers almost like his heyday. But later, in 2016 it wasn't the old frank spencer any more.
Thanks for sharing this! Do you know if there’s any video that has the whole show? Sure would be awesome to see. Michael Crawford is so talented and I hope he’ll return to do one more theater performance sometime soon.
The 25th concert was a travesty, John Owen Jones & Katie Hall SHOULD have been the cast. Like Michael and Sarah, they actually matched The Phantom and Christine unlike others people gush about.Gillian Lynne adored John. He deserved so much better. I so regret have looked up this show and wasted my time.
Frank Spencer is a gift to England and the world. A kind warm man, flushing with bundles of tallent. I like millions in Ireland, sat, watching, "Some Mothets Do Have l"m," and laughted so hard that it hurt my jaw. What a lovely sweet man: God Bless his soul. Owen in Donegal.
