SOULBOND RESOLVE!!! Something we forgot to mention: Soulbond resolve only prevents damage if it is the first instance of damage you have taken this turn! That means if you've taken damage from a previous attack, runechant etc the prevention effect will not happen. Just one to keep in mind! -Finlay

@12:14, not sure what the thinking was but with miragai, the spec, levels and waning vengenace you could have done a lot more, you take 8 of the 13 presented blocking with traverse, add chi. on your turn chi for miragai, play the spec using levels which gives miragai and the 2 shields +1 counters, pitch the chi to swing miragai for 10, 2 shields for 2 each so 16 total and then you can play waning vengenace and play protect the monarch with the miragai which is easier as youd still have unmoveable red. At least thats in my opinion
Yeah that’s true, good spot! Hadn’t considered that line at the time, still learning the play patterns and when to use traverse and the spec. First paper event! I’m sure I could have played a lot of turns very differently.

@@MrAvacardo FROM FINLAY! : My current plan is to block on their go again turns and return damage when they present a single attack or hammer, adding a remembrance lets you block with power cards and not feel sad, but it's a hard matchup and gets harder with visit goldmane estate

Hey! Quillhand is pretty much only used as an arcane barrier piece into Kano and runeblades, it is worth considering using the activated ability on it if the extra 2 runechants will help you present lethal and win the game!
At first I agreed that E-Strike felt clumpy. Though the more I use it the more I am finding i really am liking it. Typically when i draw it that is the turn I try not to block and push hopefully a 5 card hand. It has made for some great long chains.
This is the best boltyn video ever. The guy is a genius and has a perfect insight on what he is doing. Boltyn is the best hero to play the game at it's hard core design
Something like grains is probably a good choice into dromai or ninja, but in this list the space is a bit too tight to run 4 different chest pieces. AND tunic is too important to beat fatigue decks - Finlay
