@12:14, not sure what the thinking was but with miragai, the spec, levels and waning vengenace you could have done a lot more, you take 8 of the 13 presented blocking with traverse, add chi. on your turn chi for miragai, play the spec using levels which gives miragai and the 2 shields +1 counters, pitch the chi to swing miragai for 10, 2 shields for 2 each so 16 total and then you can play waning vengenace and play protect the monarch with the miragai which is easier as youd still have unmoveable red. At least thats in my opinion

Yeah that’s true, good spot! Hadn’t considered that line at the time, still learning the play patterns and when to use traverse and the spec. First paper event! I’m sure I could have played a lot of turns very differently.

Hey, Sorry about the glare. The store we were recording at didn't have the best lighting. Hopefully the on screen HP, card highlights and the commentary makes up for that. Will see what we can sort for next time!
