It’s so nice to see someone smiling so much to a song that was so popular and never hear it before 😂 I still can sing it after all these years . Girl from video was in a movie „american beauty” and guy is from „american pie” . Two great movies
Cinderella was a great band, but this was one of their worst released songs, too commercialized and gimmicky, listen to the Night Songs album, Nobodys Fool, Shake Me, and Nothing for Nothing are great songs off that album
This one of my favorite SRV songs. It doesn't show up in reviews much. Another favorite is Change it. I've only found the official video version of it, but song is sadly neglected. Everyone always points to Texas Flood but his catalog was so much more than that one song. This was an Austin City Limits appearance & it was awesome! I've seen him several times.
Welcome to the world of Stevie Ray Vaughan!!!!!! Hold on cause you are going for a ride like no other. I always enjoy watching the reaction on peoples faces when watching this man for the first time. You did not disappoint me at all. LOve this reaction
I am looking forward to the day that you react to the Wacken 2013 performance of Nightwish's Ghost Love Score... You can start your rock education with that... haha
Agreed, this is a great video (not that SVR has any bad videos, lol) BUT, if you Truly wish to experience the real Stevie (It is said, he was born with a guitar in his hands) then this is the video you need to watch!! (Same live concert!) SVR was the best, He had NO equal ! Stevie Ray Vaughan - Voodoo Child One Night In Austin Texas = So you like Guitar... How about acoustic? This following guy is SUPER fun to watch!! Luca Stricagnoli - FEEL GOOD INC. (Gorillaz) =
You made me laugh with your genuine reaction for the guitar solo, man! I recommend you to react to another Poison ballad.... "Life goes on". That solo has been my favorite for a long time ago.
Thanks, James.. SRV is amazing.. and so is the keyboard player.. Reese Wynans... check out when Stevie breaks a string and does the most amazing guitar switch...not only while playing but singing! lol
Dude. You are so young you was prolly running up and down your mama's and daddy's spines in the 80s. This is from Heartbreak Station released in 90. Politicians were getting called out, Al Gores wife Tipper for some weird reason was listening to Ozzy to see if she could find a victim so she and her racist roots husband could be plastered on TV and John Denver did more for Free Speech than Dee Snider ever could. Jimmy Swaggert got busted and televangelism became a crisis for thier corporations. The single most powerful line in the lyrics of this song is, " if you live in a glass house don't be throwing rocks at me". He'll this song is more relevant today than it was back when it was conceived. Think about it. "Everybody needs a little place they can hide. Somewhere to call their own. Let nobody inside. Every now and then we all need to let go. For some it's a bottle, for me it's rock and roll. For some it's a needle, for some it's a pill. Some people wave a Bible 'cause it's giving them a thrill. Others point thier finger if they don't like what they see... then the previous about living in a glass house. I know in the world of Pop and human Creativity that don't mean shit. Have you seen us lately in movies, songs, advertising, or anything else. Bro. Full on soulful Creativity is dead. In 2023 we are living 1984.
