My favorite grape varietal is Sangiovese, with the close second place being Nebbiolo. I love how similar it is to Pinot Noir in reflecting the terroir and even in how hard it can be to both grow and vinify. When they're good, they are fabulous tho!! I usually prefer Barbaresco to Barolo, but we're talking nuances. Don't mind Barbera grape either, quite to the contrary. I know people go nuts over the French but to me, there's just something magical about Italian wines, whether they're Brunello di Montalcino and Chianti Classico or some more affordable version of Sangiovese. I actually find the combination of Sangiovese and regular Montepulciano d'Abruzzo very enjoyable. Primitivo, Zinfandel or whatever they call it on the eastern side of the Adriatic is amazing too, Malvasia...omg, I could go on and on. That's why I enjoy these Italian series of yours so much, but looking forward to everything else! Cheers! 🍷🍷
I’m glad for this video to get view over and over . Wow me that it too 45sh year for someone to noticed these goodies of USA wines , we .. people who grow up drinking Real wine always knew = Many would rather pick up a France wine from trader’s joe than a made believe Napa wine Visit the centenarians vintage of Rioja Spain, Mendoza Argentina to drink the real wine . By the way is because USA wines contains garbage that the “ Natural Wine” frase come about . Wine is meant to be natural !!!
I opened this never having heard about it, I thought it was about wine. Read the comments while it was running and didn't know why people seemed insane? Then read the blurb, and hear the guy talking about not understanding why he got headaches from wine. lol, that's far enough for me.
A few years back i started having bad reactions to wine (age 60), where wine seemed to chemically burn my tongue and throat. The frustrating thing is not every wine would do it so i was playing Russian roulette if i wanted a glass of wine! I tried one of those filters that was supposed to remove the histamines and sulfites, but it did not help. White wines seemed safer as did wines from European countries. The worst was those big red american made wines. How do i and others find a "clean, dry farmed, organic wine product" in the USA?
The constant mmHmmMmms, right, yea’s the entire interview were extremely distracting and wish it was cut out. Weren’t people using the 20 point scale? I agree with some of the claims made so far but this is seemingly heavily biased to push natural wines from someone making natural wines.
Great production quality, very informative and entertaining. Host is great too. Would love to see more episodes! Seems to bring out a lot of people criticizing and giving unsolicited opinions but don't let that guys stop you haha!
