Great. The Sabres either picked a Diamond in the ruff, or another player to play in their dysfunctional way of playing. Hopefully, Lindy brings back some sense to the Sabres and this guy can work on his skill a little more before being thrown to the wolves.
Somehow Blake traded that contract. Great take on Dubois. As a die hard Kings fan, I can say there is shades of an 8 million dollar player in his game. But, his lack of effort is just something you don’t ever see in the NHL. If he found a way to up his compete level he could potentially be an elite player in the league.
I don’t see Luke Misa going in the first round and he might not go in 2nd? THN has him predicted 49th and has fallen down draft rankings as year went on
It'd be awesome if AJ could drop some time stamps in these videos. Don't always have time to process them in bulk and it's tough coming back and finding the player I was on
He will go higher but i agree that he’s quite overrated. He’s super risky and fraught with holes. He’s a real boom or bust guy who doesn’t really play a projectable game at all.
@@Jmulk96I don’t think he’s overrated but I think he def needs work in some areas. Scoring 30 goals as a draft year defenseman in the Whl isn’t overrated. It’s extremely impressive. The team he was on was terrible. Most prospects when interviewed said yakumchuk was one of the hardest players to play against.
I wonder how well this is gonna age. You guys have alot -alot- of hot takes but you obviously talk to each other alot because you have the same view on everything. I prefer different opinions so i can forge my own. You two not having yakemchuk in the first round when some have him in the top 5 is a good example.
Thank you Will and the rest of the squad for a great year and look forward to future content! I gotta say, I was pretty devastated when you shutdown the channel for a period of time. You have continuously helped me during work days or gym workouts, I always have your videos streams on. I have learned a ton about the draft process and what to look for in prospects. I appreciate your hard work and so happy your channel is becoming great. happy draft season brother
I'm thinking that Calgary will try to move up in the draft to get Iginla, and that would open the flood gates with other G.M.s looking to make moves. I really doubt we'll see a repeat of last year's draft, where no first-round pick was traded. As for Buffalo, I could see them dealing their 11th-overall pick and perhaps one of their Rochester prospects for an aggressive third-line forward, a lower first-round pick this year and a first-round pick next year.
Вау, на самом деле я бы тоже хотел его увидеть в Детройте. Он один из тех кого недооценивают, парень по уровню может заиграть как Панарин. Но тут и может сыграть плохую сторону его габариты.
"His confidence can get the best of him" and "his defensive zone play... leaves a lot to be desired" sounds like it describes several top 10-ish players (Catton, Eiserman, Iginla, Parekh) in this draft, no? Is Sennecke significatly worse than them in those aspects, or is he just not doing enough elsewhere to counteract those shortcomings?
I'm assuming Steven doesnt have any children because discounting 8-12 months of age gap for development is wild. It slowly evens out over the course of their life, but someone who starts with significant development disadvantages and is able to overcome them is not something to be overlooked. Having a full hockey seasons worth of age ahead of someone is a huge advantage.
