I sure hope the fuck not.

I would say the pure skill level and creativity is higher, but Michkov used it more effectively and I felt his defensive timing and positioning was better in the KHL for what that's worth.

@@hdhdbeu it’s arguable that demidov is talented but he doesn’t have the same exposure, and the fear of him signing a contract in Russia, etc.

Would he even have gone top3 last year if he was a year older? Like Fantilli that went 3rd was 2 inches taller, faster, a lot more physical, also won the Hobey Baker, scored more points in fewer games, had the most points in the NCAA, had a better +/-. I think San Jose still would've gotten him if he was a year older lol. Would've been close at least.

@@bajjanitor Yea, Celebrini is a better prospect than Fantilli. Celebrini has the best 16 year old season in USHL history and the best 17 year old season in modern NCAA history. Fantilli had slightly better scoring numbers, but played on a team with another top five pick, three more first round picks and another early second in Brindley. Fantilli doesn't win the Hobey with last years season over Smith or Gauthier this year. Celebrini won it for nearly leading the country in PPG, only behind Smith while carrying BU on his spine. He also plays a total 200 foot game and is more well rounded than Fantilli. I think Celebrini just barely edges out Fantilli and Eichel as a prospect, they're all same-ish tier though.

@@KidCudi72 Fair enough. That's more reasonable than saying him having no challenger other than Bedard for best prospect in these 2 drafts.

@@bajjanitor Yea, maybe I imbellished. He's in that tier of Fantilli and Carlsson from the past season, they're also #1 caliber picks in most drafts too. There's an argument that they'd go over Slaf / Hischier / Power / Laf. I just have Macklin at the top of that tier of him Fantilli and Carlsson. All should be franchise #1Cs for the next era of the NHL.
