Hi Craig, Just ran across your video about handcycle and electric handcycles, and then this one popped up. Im so sorry about your accident, I had one very similar, I ran into the back of a stopped SUV, my face was cut up real bad, but I did not get any real injuries, I thank the Lord for that, its always hard to tell how I didnt see a stopped car but I know how easy it can happen. Im hopping to find out which type of hand cycle you finally got. Since your in England, (my wife is from Thetford) I probably wont have the same brand, Oh I forgot, Im not crippled completly, just having some strange nerve damage resulting from Cancer and Radition, oh well happy cycling, Eddie
In India There is city called Dharamshala ( Himachal Pradesh ) there is a place where spinal cord injury patients again able to walk... I think u should go there once
Hi, i have fnd and waiting on test for multiple sclerosis, i am really struggling and feel i want to give up, i dont want antidepressants, i tryed them and started getting bad thoughts so come right off them, i am getting spasticity in my foot leg and hands, its debilitating and is ruining my life, i feel im just pushed away as there is not alot known for fnd which makes it so hard, im looking for anyway to help my symptoms, i just keep looking and trying to find any hope or just some ease in my life... im at the point were i need help, can anyone help me, im willing to try cbd oil but i dont know were to begin, id really appreciate some advice, i have to try help myself

This might be way too late, but is there a way to modify the wheelchair to have raised height lift that you can have a switch to operate & have the wheels lock in place before transferring? That’d be an awesome adjustment to wheelchair I think. If we’ve a raised bed lift, I’m sure we can also have one modify to a wheelchair. Thank you for showing us the hand control, that’s awesome to have for differently-able person. I might be able to have one modify for the brake for my partial numb left leg when it does happens occasionally 🙏👏🙌👍
I'm just out the Queen Elizabeth National Spinal Injuries Unit Scotland and been put to hospital closer to where I live, it's an ordinary hospital ward with no room. I'm waiting to get re-homed. I have a T12 complete injury. My legs jump like crazy, it seems to be when I'm doing something new a d not having the correct equipment such as a shower chair and standing frame. Love the video, I wish I had the support you've got.
Thanks, I'm having tons of trouble getting pants on. Women pull up jeans are great, but tights are impossible, especially with my shoulders being broken and interference of hands grabbing.
Thanks :) We did think about it, can't remember why we didn't in the end, possibly because we weren't sure how to make it work with the doors but it definitely would help on windy days for sure
Thanks for uploading. I also had a very nasty cycling head injury which kept me off work for five months. I do not agree with the helmet advocators, though. A helmet might be a benefit in some instances but the point is that helmets do not make accidents any less likely. The source of the problem is frequently the cars and lorries etc that we share the roads with. I always say that my cycling skill and experience are what keep me safe on the bike; from practice I know how the other road users are going to not see me, underestimate my speed, not give a damn etc etc. Thank goodness helmets aren't compulsory in the UK. They aren't much of a direct safety benefit except in rare cases. I know many or most people will disagree.
