For robot drinking buddy: the three tapes are in colonial tap house, behind whitechapel Charlie in the good neighbor pub, and the other one is in the shamrock tap house behind one of the counters. If you want buddy to know these recipes you have to open them yourself first
I think every beacon quest is an unmarked quest. There are a couple of these quest to find, you just have to activate the satellites at the relay towers across the map and you can follow the signal on your Pipboy.
I cannot stand the word parker mutters, I pretty much do my best to NEVER meet him I really wish that word would just stop existing. When i hear it, it brings up echos of memories of all the bullys who called me that
Please, if you recruit Sheffield, give him some dignity and give him decent clothes and weapon before he heads out to your settlement. Never realized you could send Clem to another settlement. I also didn’t know the charge card guy could be recruited. My husband and I find him hilarious because he’s a spot on spot Boston character. I’ve only ever encountered him a few times in all my playthrus (and there have been a lot). I did just encounter him a couple of weeks ago. ETA: Haven’t used intimidation in years. I’ve clocked a ridiculous amount of hours in FO4 and only just heard of the Scribe in Norespawn’s RR build.
So there's this random encounter spot a little bit behind the Cambridge police station, it's next to a couple buildings with a collapsed billboard. There's also a yellow car between this spot and the police station and you wanna save just before passing that yellow car, because once you pass the car, the random event occurs. The Scribe and Smiling Larry can both be found here (separately of course), but there's so many random encounters like super mutants, raiders and many more so you're probably not gonna see the Scribe walking past that building for a while but it's a guaranteed spawn for both of them, just a matter of when. This is a spot that you can find the Scribe even after finishing the Automatron DLC, no Rust Devil spawns. So if you've been playing for a while and you just can't find this guy, you can give this a try. Find the yellow car, save your game, and keep reloading until you see him. Ad Victorium my brothers and sisters
I think the entire encounter with Parker even his name was a joke on the Bostonian accent you can really get it just in what he's trying to sell you a Chahge Cahd
I remember running into the scribe near The Boston Police Rationing Site. Didnt have many caps at that point, nor did i work on my settlement. Huge missed opportunity
I found the scribe before watching this video. I didn't even realize that he was recruitable. I don't really remember the exact conversation that we had. I am on survival difficulty, and I was trying to clear out the ghouls in the area that he was in. Either he was bugged and didn't offer, or I skipped right past the recruitment dialogue. I'll have to go back to see if he's still around. If not, I'll have to find him again. I did find Sheffield though. Hope he's safe!
Considering farming Purified Water brings in 40-50,000 caps per day, and there’s NOTHING special you need to do that requires running around to accomplish this, there’s really no reason to worry about dropping off fertilizer and tools to the peeps in Vault 81.
The Vault-Tec Salesman is bugged for me on PS5. I assigned him to the general store, but everytime I speak to him to buy something, my character will ask him (again) to work for me, then he'll answer some canned response, and only then will I be able to buy something. It makes it very tedious.
Wow that sucks. I ran into the scribe, recruited him. Got into a battle right after. Told myself to save in case the worst happened bc I didn’t wanna lose that recruit. I didn’t, as usual. Game crashed when I tried to take it too far with some of my mods I know better than to use without saving first, it crashed. It reloaded to just before I met the Scribe (he was literally within the area I saved at before meeting him) and he was no longer there. I reloaded a bunch of times and he never popped up. That’s crazy I was lucky enough to find him on first walk through then he never exists after 😂
I told a good friend of mine, over 10 years ago, a couple years after Fallout 3, this was going to be on television, soon. It took over a decade...so, maybe 'soon' was inappropriate, but, hey.
Old Lady Dithers actually remembers everything from simulation to simulation in Tranquility Lane because Pinkerton actually stole a memory inhibitor chip (or smth) to make Harkness forget his memories as a synth and implant new memories for him in the Wasteland
I’m currently on my very first play through. I knew nothing about the game when I started, and I’m REALLY surprised at how many of these NPCs I’ve run into and have successfully recruited without knowing anything about them or this video before today. I will say though, I’ve killed one not knowing any better and assigned the others to duties that don’t match their perks as I didn’t know they had special characteristics. Side Note: Oddly, I’ve had a lot of success keeping Sutton alive by gearing him up and assigning him to Supply Line duty. I’m currently at about the six hundred day mark in-game.
I've started that first unmarked quest and killed everybody, recruited the vault-tec representative, found the General Atomics hidden the quest, and the wedding quest. I guess the collecting tool for pay quest is hardest to find
Give a nuka cola to the guy who sits outside the shop that sells Swattas in Diamond City. It makes him recruitable and you can send him to a settlement.
So far I'm 1 for 3. Sheffield made it to my settlement. Riley never showed up and now the vault tec rep never showed up. I reloaded a save just before i recruited him and decided to follow him all the way to sanctuary. Once out of Goodneighbor, he immediately stepped on a mine and died. WTF?!
I'm surprised the tool quest is not more commonly known. If you're patient, you can make a ridiculous (and consistent) amount of caps from those sales.
Ive done all of these but the wedding already and didn’t know they were hidden, vault tec salesman is the bartender at the minutemen lounge I made in my sanctuary. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZksiguRArYg.htmlsi=VKnRf86yOJcEUwcQ
