Nothing wrong with the Smith. It does get you used to a heavy weight. But it lacks stabilizing the weights. I'm 198 and 185 on incline for 10 reps became easy. But not chance on free weights. It was more like 155. Still helped on increasing using both.
Its not 693lbs resistance that you are pushing against...That's why you can do it.....The majority of the weight acts with gravity and a large portion of the rest is mitigated by the rail and the underside of the linear bearings.
I get you but I find these massive weights on Incline machines silly...You know every plate in the gym and two gym bros sitting on top of the pile...It's a trick.
With utmost respect, I’ve been using this machine for years, am entirely comfortable whilst doing the excercise and after, experience no lower back pain in my life whatsoever. Why is the machine designed to go that deep if I’m not supposed to be doing it that deep? Nah, ass to grass, always. I don’t know what you meant by my lower back being twisted at the end, my butt is entirely and squarely against the seat
Good stuff my man, only thing i recommened is adding atleast 10 more pounds before you call it a "one rep max" because you crushed that weight big guy, keep it up man and you will hit 700lbs before you even know it. God Bless.
@@chrisray250 I think 3-4 reps are common for strength, but loads of sets. Like 6-8 sets (24 reps in total). For hypertrophy 8 reps seems to be the gold standard, for 3 sets. But I don't actually know anything, I just watch people yap about strength and hypertrophy on youtube. I think more and more science is pointing towards the fact that being consistent and pushing yourself is the most important thing. Then you can switch up for variety, changing goals (hypertrophy vs strength) etc. You're a beast
Thanks, the guy filming said the exact same thing. I’m 185 lbs currently, at 5’11’’, so apparently I’m barely overweight according to online bmi calculators
I absolutely love the field gun. It's so incredibly satisfying. The sound, the animation, the tension that slow reload creates when some sniper already has you lined up, but then you direct hit him and just start cackling 😁
Nice man, I love the field gun too. Often use it as artillery from the previous sector etc, my bro can spot and correct my rounds, its hilarious ;D If you defend on Monte Grappa, the first field gun can stop alot of tanks and people on the approach to the church. Even if you cant see them, just use the map and lob the rounds home :)
