Same thing happened to my family My dad died Sunday June 23 10;20 pm and the last thing I saw was a flag over him when he was taken out of the house Yesterday was my dad funeral 😢😢😢😢
Hello Victoria, I'm sorry for your loss... but I'm glad you had the honors flag presented to you... The Military does it's level best to honor the sacrifices we make when we go in harms way to protect Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness for people that never would have been helped any other way, for any other reason. I’ve been to several funerals for service members I served with and I can’t tell you how hard it is to sit there and not cry when you hear final roll call or taps play. It’s just a reminder that they’re not there anymore and it’s just the worst feeling
Tre Campbell a 21 gun salute is always on cannons and is very rare. A 3 volley salute is what is at every military funeral, hence why you can have a firing party of 3, and it’s still a 3 volley salute
