They fired Vrabel because he had 2 losing seasons in a row. 7-10 & 6-11. He lost the locker room period. They surrounded Levis with talent to see what they got in him
They also had hired a new coaching staff so they tore it down and built it back up in 1 off season. That's why they spent more money. Also, they fired the previous GM because of the long list of bad drafts. They had to spend money to make up for that

The cardinals have no excuse to be bad. I’m not a Cards fan, however they were fun to watch with Kyler. I’m tired of seeing the Cards defense get dominated and play soft. So, a lot of stuff came together for the second half of the season. The O-line jelled, the receivers were more reliable. Love made better decisions, and the whole team grew. Sometimes the team is more than the sum of it's parts.

Jordan Love seems to have the commendable traits that point to future success as a top tier quarterback. He wears a bracelet that says simply "I am second" which he says means that God and others come first before himself. Stopping last winter to help a woman free her stuck car from the snow indicates a person willing to help others whether on the street or with his teammates on the football field. One cannot help but to wish that sort of person well in all his endeavors. It seems that the Green Bay Packers has indeed found its next great quarterback. Go Pack Go!
