I agree that I'd rather have power on/off with my lightsabers. I can change that with the Asteria and Proffie boards, but haven't tried looking at the Flyte or Lyte boards to see if that can be changed. I did get one of the Mordred hilts not too long ago (back in June), so I'll check that one out.
@pachstore I'm sure there is. I have a had sabe form saberforge. If you have heard of them, even with the push button, the swing activation kept turning the sabre on and off. What I should have said was I prefer sabre with a push button solely.
This is a good looking hilt. Its a bummer that the hero trigger doesn't actually function as a switch. But since your index finger will probably be on it while your thumb hits the buttons, it sort of gets the effect. Any thoughts about an Empty or Proffie version?
I've seen other vendors' version of this and this one looks a lot better. I do like 1 core to control both blades. Also like the ring has spring pin locks. Others' are loose and when swinging them the rings try to swing close. I'm really interested, so I'll give it till the weekend and probably will pick one up.
Ok. Ordered it on Aug 25th. And typically, it's already been delivered. Also typically, no shipping notification, but I'm used to that now. First thoughts. It's a beast. Bit weighty, but that's a given with how it's made. Very nice though and the packaging is good as always. Very big display stand also. I'll probably never open up the ring though, since you cannot swing it open and those edges on the ring, even though they are blunted, will still catch on your wrists or hands.
These are the right lightsabers for me they look like they are specifically designed to work with my reverse grip and since they have a matte finish you don't have to worry about fingerprints this is exactly why I don't like Chrome lightsabers. I am planning on going out of character with them though preferably blue blades but I may still use the white hard to say offhand.
That's a nice hilt, but I'm trying to understand why the designer would choose to use round tip side guard blades with a bullet tip main blade. They should all be the same style.
I'm having trouble finding out how to get it into the editing mode for the blade length on the pixels everything else was wonderful we absolutely love the light saber just trying to figure out how to get it back into that mode thank you
AND, it's already been delivered. On Memorial Day. So, less than a week from order to delivery. On a Pre-release notification. Battery was flat, but it charged up fine. I'm really quite impressed with it. For a hilt that takes a 1 inch blade, it's quite slim. Only complaint I have is the sound venting, but that's because of how the pommel slims down, nothing wrong with the lightsaber. I have a couple similar hilts from different vendors and they use the same venting, but much cheaper electronics. Well done and keep up the good work.
Very nice BUT you are weirdly AVOIDING to show how SHORTS the blades are.... 65cm/26" It's not very professional because it's far from the real size in the series !!
I missed this one last time and waited a bit and settled for another vendors' version. Of course this is an insta-buy for me, pre-kit though. Still waiting on a DV re-release, plus a Count Dooku hilt re-release.
Surprised that, I had this delivered today, just 7 days after this pre-sale notification. That's quite impressive. Very happy to now own this one. Thank you.
I bought one recently and when it arrived, I noticed that you can swap out the white LED covers for red ones, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to do so. Could I get a little help in this and potentially some of the other little details/nuances not covered in this video?
Going on 3+ years since this release and I've never commented about when I purchased mine, in Pre-kit. I do like that the power switch is the actual switch in the hilt design, with the aux being a hidden nub on the side. It actually has 3 buttons on it, but only 2 are used. Myself though, it is a bit uncomfortable to wield, with those metal rails in the grip section, but otherwise, I adore this hilt. Beautifully made and fittingly Honors The Princess.
Ok, I just received the order today. I probably should have ordered another ESB with the rivets. The adhesive on the grips aren't fantastic, but they're holding, just move a bit. I might try some different type of adhesive to bind the rubber grips to metal, somehow. I do like how the frame and internals are built, big step up from the first build. Holds the chassis VERY securely. The knurled end cap in easy to grip. Plus, they gave a couple points of interest on the directions in the box for simple proffie LED color changes. Well done.
ESB version without a shadow of a doubt, and I've been looking for a prekit compatible Graflex for a long time, but why did you have to release it now when I can't spare the cash? That's just cruel bro 😅😅. Actually, one question: Can the activation box be rotated to the other side of the saber?
From the pictures on the site, the clamp is removable, so, you can put it any way you like. It's VERY similar to the original, which I have and since I'm left handed, I know the clamp can be moved on that one.
