If the choice was given, the 'vette or the Wagon I am picking that wagon. I don't even care if the 'vette is or is not better on paper. I love this wagon. That thing looks like so much fun.
Drive the Gambler event and win $4500 he says, it'll be fun he says...lol. It would cost me nearly $3000 just in fuel to tow there and back. Congrats on the win, I'm glad it worked out for you! Maybe someday I'll be out that far east. 👍
Which would have been better for Gambler, the Vette or the BMW? HGK Eurofighter next year? Maybe?! lol.. I love how raw and real your content is dude, your Canadian shines through! It's refreshing to see in pro competition, truly!
I remember re-building the brake booster on my 1965 Rover car (quite a long time ago) New diaphragms, seals and springs were available almost any 'motor factors' back then when things were 'not green' and designed to be repaired instead of thrown away. The dual master cylinders with spherical bearing and cable adjustment is directly from 1970's F1 (possibly even earlier, Jaguar used disk brales in 1950's)
That’s such a nice go cart. When I was a kid Ford motor company had an employees kids go cart team and competitions. Get them started young and they will love it the rest of their lives.
Nah there’s still a ton of e46,e36, g35s all over marketplace for $3k-$5k. That’s more than affordable and if not then drifting should be the last thing the person looking for a cheap cars mind. Drifting is far from cheap lol
200 sets of tires in 12 month! That’s commitment! At 51, I just did my first two drift events. Hopefully get 2-3 more in before the end of the year. Stock angle E92. Gonna need to order FDF front and rears for the off season.
Tips for drift karting, do it in the rain. You'll have more consistent grip front and back, you also learn to throttle control it to keep the angle and drift going. When i was 7, i used to do karting and we have a lot of rain so driving in the rain fun as i could slide it around the track even though my coach said not too haha. Still do only go karting when it rains to just slide.
Think you're old at 32. 😂 I'm 47 and feeling old, and just got back into HPDE after not doing it for almost 15 years. So seeing this guy just getting into drifting in his early 60s makes me feel young again.
Tell grandpa he should bring his car to summit point motorsports park and let the car stretch its legs!! Oct 26-27th drift nirvana and drift hq are hosting feint or freight!!
I love seeing older folk like myself (I'm 50) taking part, it's what makes our grass roots drift community up here in Canada so unique and so very cool! What's the plan for next season, Josiah? New car? More DMEC? PLEASE!
Hi! Thank you for you in depth videos. Do you take does decisions ourself about entering behind the leadcar or are you discussion it with your spotter? And how is the communication with your spotter? Best regards, Peder Balerado
