My Duke 200 bs4 somedays starts with no problem. But on some it won't start by not making any sound, and it get start after certain minutes. I have changed clutchswitch, self switch, relay, battery is gud condition, wiring checked. Is there any soln
Hello my duke bs3 200 is cranking and not getting started . We have checked all wiring , fuel infector , spark plug . Everything is working fine . Still its not getting start . Any suggestions
Hello man. I have a Duke 125 2011 and it dont start by ignition i need to start it by pushing it and relesing the clutch. I tested pressure and i have 2.7 kilopascal from needed 3.0..Do you think this will fix my problem?
My quickshifter tends to shift smoothly from 4-5th and 5-6th gears but rest all of them it either makes me put hell lot of pressure to shift or it just simply doesn't shift, any solution buddy?
Its not RPM speed limit. Its gear shift indicator (red light in the centre of top console). The red light will start blinking at RPM1, and will be solid On at RPM2. It is only for you to know when to shift ur gears, it doesn't change bike performance in any way.
Thanks so much for this dude! Bike's been cutting-out on me and dying for minutes and banging for the past month (no fuel filter change for 45k lolol. Just had to try bump start it for ages (the battery holds no charge either so it was fucking knackering!). Will update status once I've done the filter thanks again
Thanks man! I, however, have a different issue with the fan. It starts running as usual when the engine heats up, but it doesn't stop. Oddly, the engine doesn't cool down effectively nor does it overheat. Has anyone faced a similar issue after exposure to water? Appreciate any insights or solutions.
the fan kicks in via a thermostat (temp) sensor if the sensor gose bas it might cause issues of this type . if you can use another fan to test it you will know for sure the sensor is on the fan as far as i know and looks like a small black beed of glass with 2 wires coming out of it
not at all this is a prank video , the engine mapping is done for increacing timing curvs and getting the wrong map can cause big problems you will need an ecu programming chip + adapter for ktm duke 6 pins connector + the oem (updated) engine map that is made for that specific model since this topic is prone to large user erro i prefer not to advice anyone to attempt it educational info only
@@MechanicsDIY second track sounds better in my opinion 🤙. Also I don't know if you've got a theory, but I have the same 125 engine in an RC. It's come up with an engine light after riding for a few hours, after an oil change, also sluggish throttle response. Can't wrap me head around it.
@@MechanicsDIY Replaced oil filter, spark plug and fuel filter. The bike wouldn't turned on beforehand but after replacing fuel filter it was running again. The engine light didn't come until about 4-5 hours of riding spaced out between two days.
@@scooba42084 you can do a k44 fuel addetive engine cleanup and see if it's solved ,, the lights pop for varios reasons . carbon buildups is an issue solved by an addetive - slkuggish thruttle is a symptom for a dirty engine
if you disconnect the blue plug under the carb (sat on bike right side the fan will come on you will get an engine light flash on the clocks but it will kick the fan in to go flat out just incase you need to get home iv got a problem when the plug is not connected its runs very well when its connected it stalls ie wont idle seems to be a short some where or broken wire
the ktm voltage regularor have a black grounnd wire secured to the frame of the bike . if it is curroded the voltage going to the auto-thruttle control is interupted , be sure to check it , (location under the fuel tank secured via 8 size blot .) if problem presists the voltage regulator / stator might be faulty )
dirty engine/sparkplug causes more fuel consumtion . the sensor can affect this too ( if all the rest is clean ) using a fuel adddetive like k44 will clean the intake valves /sparkplug /injector . and can restor the engine normal power
