I am sixty one and have a two year old Patterdale Terrier called Lu, who comes from hunting parents but has absolutely no killing instinct - thanks be! My favourite cousin Patty [seventy three] has the frequent care of her son's Norfolk Terrier, called Indie. Lu and Indie met for the first time only in February [2023] and it was a riot. Both behaved as if they had known each other since pups. Indie is also quite young. Quite turned the front room into a race track! Terriers are the best if they have a home that gives them the confidence to be themselves, which comes from some cast iron rules and subtle ways to sanction naughtiness. Indie is very much loyal to her owner's mother, which is not really surprising, and Lu took to my cousin within seconds as well. She is not always so easy to charm, but it was instant love. Terriers recognise doggy people with un-erring accuracy. If your [kindly] terrier does not like someone [and that in Lu's case is shown by simply ignoring them, not aggression] you might do well to suspect that the person in question is not quite as nice as they might appear on the surface. That was an interesting and lovely information guide to owning a Norwich Terrier. My Norwich died just 6 months ago, and everything in this video reminds me of him.
If I ever get a Norwich or Norfolk Terrier, I'm naming them Nugget, regardless of what gender they are because they look like big fuzzy chicken nuggets
Very nice video! I wish I could have one or two or three of these. I love terriers of all sizes. I have a long-haired border terrier that looks and acts just like Norwich terriers only larger. He likes to chase rodents, cats and anything else that gets in the yard, and he guards the house zealously.
They are ADORABLE. My neighbor has one and he is just my FAV. He’s great with kids and alerts us all if anyone walks down our street with an unknown dog! 😹 He never barks at next door neighbors because he knows EXACTLY who belongs to each house and cars and bikes they drive and dogs they have. I just adore him.

Awww ... you were doing so welll , then when you showed the difference between Standard and Toy, you showed a Toy for the Standard, and some kind of dog that's not a Manchester at all as though it was the Toy.

I believe fact #3 is backwards. Kerry Blues are born black and then lighten with age. They should be various shades of blue by the age of 18 months. Solid black dogs cannot be shown in AKC events if the dog is 18 months of age or older.
