Another great episode! I have an episode suggestion - y’all should get in touch with someone from 1001 Tracklists for an interview. I’ve always wondered who is behind putting those lists together, sometimes HOURS after the sets 😮
Lol I ate absolutely nothing all three nights and stayed for up to 8 hours almost every night 🙃. Don't beat yourself up for it. I didn't feel hungry and the prices were freaking too much for the amount of food you get. But I did have a big meal before going. 👍
I really hope you’ll be at lost lands this year! I want to meet you so bad! Been a silent viewer for as long as I can remember and you never fail us ! ✨💗
I totally agree about Circuit Grounds. I wish they would move Circuit Grounds to where they had Basspod this year and have Basspod where Circuit was. And I spend most of my time at Basspod. But I missed 4 sets at Circuit cause I just couldn't deal with the crowds and it made passing by that area IMPOSSIBLE!
Omg I love it that you watch Travel Ruby too!! Her vids were so helpful for my first Vegas trip last year 😂 (and your vids helped for my 1st EDC last year too ❤) On topic tho lol- You are flippin' rocking it Emma! I'm so happy for you. I loved the new layout this year and the signage was SO nice too! My only small gripe is where Stereo Bloom was, or at least how they had it setup to where you could only get in on one side basically. So unless you got in early for a set you wanted to see, good luck getting through 😂 Still managed to get a fabulous spot to see Azzecca though 🥰
Very great recap video of EDC Emma! This was my 4th EDC in a row. I definitely agree that water stations in GA were not in the most convenient of places. Was there at Said the Sky Trivecta Set Thursday and had such a great time! I also watch all the Travel Ruby videos for all my Vegas info. May go again next year we will see.
I was right at the same spot for the OD, did the narcan class earlier that day and never thought we may need to use it. The slander crowd was wild and I felt horrible til I heard that story because we noticed it to late to offer narcan. If you can take the class please do
Thank you for doing this I’ve been trying to find something like this cuz I’ve never been and I don’t know what to expect. So at least this helps a little. Still so many questions. 😊
Thank you for this!!! I just did EDCLV last week and i decided that i don’t want to do drugs anymore. Ever. Big change for me, I’ve been doing them since 2010 like wayyyyy too much and i feel like drugs aren’t so fun anymore. I’m thinking about raving a lot since it’s just a huge part of my life, but i know sober will be so fun too 💕
Love this interview! As an ATX local seeing Seismic and Concourse grow has been amazing but also keeping that Community feeling is what makes me call that venue home❤️
Typically I’m against the lineup hate cus Forest really isn’t about the lineup but honestly whoever said that is right, I mean to me the only thing that sets forests lineup apart this year is the live debut of some side projects. But other than that, I mean, do you really think the majority of ppl come to Forest mainly for String Cheese Incident? I think not. The lineup was a bit underwhelming in all honesty but you won’t hear me criticize it because I chose Forest because of the art installations and the Forest itself.
ALL. THE. FEELS. 🫶🏻🥰💖 I can’t tell you how many times I had to pause this because I was boo-booing with such happy tears! 😍 Our first EDC was 2015, and after 11 years of marriage, we had been going through some tough times. We did one of the free ceremonies & made it a vow renewal for us. It reinvigorated us, and established how much we loved, cared for and wanted the same things for our life together. It is still one of my favorite memories, ever, from an EDC. One of my hobbies is scrapbooking & card making, and a couple hours until our flight the following year, my Hubs suggested making & giving cards to some of the couples getting married. I loved the idea and quickly put some supplies together and made 3 handmade cards - one for a couple each night - and put them together on the plane. 😁 Inside, I included a few ‘words of wisdom’ and inspiration, from the ‘old married couple,’ and put my IG. At some point each night, we made our way to one of the chapels and enjoyed a ceremony, then would sneak over, introduce myself, hand them the card and be on our way. 💖 I can’t tell you how rewarding of an experience that turned out to be!! We made it a tradition, and I also make kandi for the bride & groom now. We’ve been invited to be in wedding photos, and had the pleasure of keeping up with folks for years (watching their lives change & grow, have kiddos, etc) through a RAK and IG. One of my favorite couples was from 5 years ago and live in Australia! 🥰 I absolutely love watching them globetrot on adventures, and he’s now a DJ even! Love makes me so happy, and I adore seeing others love stories as well. Thanks for doing this podcast!! ❤
American Rave Sucks it’s too much it’s not even raving to be honest it’s let’s dress up in no clothes and go to a music festival where the music is to slow to even rave, European raves have always kept their way music changed but lifestyle stayed the same and they have the good shit there
Really enjoy hearing y’all’s perspective and so happy you both are getting to share just a taste of all that goes into what y’all do. So grateful to be a part of and get to witness y’all’s evolution. 💓
Awesome interview. I live in Austin and I don’t think people realize what it takes to run a venue like concourse. It’s a breath of fresh air to hear Andrew and Kelly have such a passion for dance music and how they brought it to Austin. So happy for their success!
