It was so amazing to meet ya. One of the few things I forgot to tell you guys, is when you can’t tell where the elevator 🛗 or stairs are as you look down a long hallway = look for the Blue Patch which tells you where to turn 😃
I'm in the older crowd and really considered going to Groove Cruise for a while now but it seems like the GC genre of music won't really be my style. I do like some trance and progressive house but at festivals I'm listening to more dubstep, bass, riddim, and west coast wobble. I might give GC a shot but EDsea seems like its more my type. I hope GC expands their genres, I'd love to give them a shot since the vibes seem amazing.
Hi! This is great feedback. They definitely tap more into that melodic/future bass style with their Ophelia crew, but it for sure is not a heavy bass music event. They have gotten this feedback though so I'm curious what the lineup will be next year! But to be transparent, it for sure leans more towards the house/progressive/techno/trance crowd!
@karth303 I’m more melodic but all the sets were amazing. I found so many new artists I fell in love with. But it’s the groove cruise culture that’s so amazing. Day 3 , they play music lightly over the load speakers, I’m waiting for the elevator to go get breakfast. I Im thinking to myself why it seems like the music is getting louder. The elevator door open up and it a dj set up IN THE ELEVATOR! lol He says lucky you. You caught the fun elevator. Or you would fall in love with a new artist and then the next day you’re sitting next to them on the mini boat hanging with them.
