I want mine super glued or some high strength epoxy used. Set the casket on a pad of concrete and then pour concrete over it all. I should be good to go for the sun going nova in a few billion years.
For the person who asked the question about the timeframe involved with total decomposition, there are YT videos on this subject. The Body Farm and Vice ,as well as other channels, explain this in more detail.
Frankly, most of us will not be waking up once inside (hopefully not, unless maybe you have a connection to Transylvania AND THE VLAD FAMILY) it really won't matter much. 😂😂😂😂
Metal casket will rot and rust from the outside in. Even a concrete burial vault will not keep out the water. Concrete is porous and water will enter and help deteriorate the casket.
Even though looking at caskets and all that stuff is not pleasant, it is important to get all the buying and planning done. Instead of buying through the ‘ripoff’ people at the mortuary or cemetery, you can buy caskets at these cheaper at casket warehouses in strip malls. As need delivery. P.S. I learned the hard way and bought at the cemetery. My wife 4 1/2 years ago. The funeral was paid for because we paid for it 30+ years ago. Advice from grandpa. Sealed or unsealed, YOUR DEAD
My Mom is being buried in the cheapest casket available. (I know I'm going tobeembarrassed). I don't think she's overly worried about whether or not. She's going to decompose quickly or not. As for me, I'm being cremated and scattered. So I won't have to worry about it. Have a blessed day everyone
good grief. What does it matter? I mean, you're dead, ok? Who's gonna know? Lord, the things people think of to line their pockets with the cash of the grieving.
I am NOT an EV type pusher BUT caskets are giant crap messes that never rot. I want to be swathed in linen and some home grown flowers tossed in the hole To have a painting on the inside is as useless as tits on a bore hog. Clean burials need to be pushed instead of those monstrous vaults that never compost Hey that’s a thought
The person is deceased with enough time the body will decompose no matter the protection As a side note that picturesque scene on the inner lid is a waste it will fade over time just like the coloring on lid
A casket is usually places in a concrete vault then put in the ground and never to be seen again meanwhile the occupant really doesn't care . I told my wife to just have me cremated and flush my ashes down the toilet . All of this is for the living not the dead anyways.
Never knew that! I just thought they randomly poked and busted all the organs and it just got everything out as it went along. I never got more in depth when asking my father about it…and we asked every question we could think of! He pretty much told us. Looking back those were good conversations to have!
High improbable. Blood does not "flow" out of a dead body. It has to be pumped out. It does not flow onto a table and into the sewer. Probably it is used in pharma.
