Ah so this is the William Cheung vs Boztepe video. I've been studying traditional Wing Chun under the William Cheung lineage for almost 10 years. I heard about this video but never saw it. It's hard to really say what this video proves. Obviously it looks like Boztepe was on top of him but due to the poor quality, angles, and the length of the film, you don't actually see what really happened in the end. I guess you had to be there. Pity. All I know is what I heard and I wish I had seen it.
The Wu Sau is trained so high because in a real fight even after only a minute the stress, tension and adrenaline causes your arms to drop. We train high so that in a fight when your arms drop they are in the right position.
So many dumb spread a lie against GM Cheung, Check out Bruce Top Student like jess Glover, Dan Inosanto etc all in their interview, books cooperate with GM William Cheung not Hawkin Cheung!!!
I'd like to see the whole video. That few seconds only proves, that both of them hit to the ground, and B. was trying to hit Cheung, but he couldn't. All his punches were blocked. And then Cheung were kicking down the agressor from himself and the "fight" is over.... /What is not on the video: after that Boztepe and his 20 pander had ran away imidiately. Mr. Cheung countinued the seminar - without any damage. So who's won and what?/ It was a black ops champaign against GM Cheung, nothing more.

Sorry this video is edited still! that's why Kung Fu mag wont use it all they did was slowww down the first edited clip I use video editing software .this video does not show what happened before boztepe and Gm Cheung's fight but it would be nice to see a straight up fight no walking in on a person at a seminar and grabbing them from the side and going to work, it boils down to what happened before, this video is not the whole thing! & until the real fight happens this will be a waste of time.
Humble opinion!?just name a few you think is incorrect!?for me his stability and hand movement is different with what you practice(cause you no clue what TWC is)but doesn't mean incorrect lol. They're different approach of Wing Chun Nowadays!!!
Well...... did you ever consider that he is using his tools and measuring the full range for his weapons/deflectors ???What happens if you face the point of contact and the person you are fighting is taller than you? can you shift your centre to see the person and deflect a punch?

Hey Dude! cheung did kick emin at first contact before they start grapple each other. But emin side did erase that part on purpose. That's why only show middle of the fight they erase the part they facing each other at first and when cheung said will grand emin a fight after the seminar and turn his back to walk out but emin jumped him from back and cheung turn kick him on the chest that part was erase forever by emin group. But blackbelt magazines group knew the truth about the incident behind!

i have learned wing chun but i use it for a menthal training and i like yoga only i dont know chi and i am trying to learn ...chi power and daily fluctuation yoga is also cool ... this is not for fighting this is for a ascention as atlantis one has to develop for ascention to other worlds best day for all
