Making Assumptions Assumptions are a part and parcel of life. We make so many assumptions about people, places and things. Assumptions are when we believe something to be true without actually knowing it to be so. We use assumptions as facts in our decision making process. When our assumptions are wrong, we may hurt others, make things complicated or have a misunderstanding. So, don't do it. Don't assume! Be curious and ask for more information. Take the time to find out the facts.
@Sicarius72 WC tends to do this in a more realistic fashion. He's picturing how an attack would actually come at you, at the head, not center of the chest. He's still following all the center line principles, but this was one of the things that seperated him from the group. He didn't just do things because thats the way they had always been, look at his Chum Kui (spelling?) form and you'll see it even more, his movements are more simplified.
The Wu Sau is trained so high because in a real fight even after only a minute the stress, tension and adrenaline causes your arms to drop. We train high so that in a fight when your arms drop they are in the right position.

@TheVidaar No where in any SLT form do you put your Wu Sao so high and definitely dont put your hand in front of your face (for OBVIOUS reasons) "Also, his Wu Sao isnt that close to his face" It certainly is, look at where the shadow meets. Cameras might lie, but shadows dont Shadows meeting means the things have "met". By the way. Ip Mans SLT is WSL's. Watch videos, read the documentation. They are one and the same.
There is something wrong placing wu sau so high. Can you not see what it is?No,neither can he cos his hand is blocking his view..Beautiful springtime....
