I've recently started playing Gibby and he is so fun to use! I am a little rusty on my bubble fighting though 😅. I have discovered that my favorite loadouts with him are long-ranged weapon + shotgun!
Whats crazy is I use the 24th, 18th, 21st, 4th and 2nd most popular legends in that order and over half of my wins are with Rampart. I also have a few wins with alter and fuse(I have wins with 9 legends) but I feel like my biggest issue is when I pick my legend and my weapons when I drop I still don't know what role I need to be on the team and thats why i do best with Rampart cuz I can play more roles with her and a lot of the time when ur solo queing no one has a role anyways we are all just fighting whatever teams we see.
The part about the weapons is really true, recently used R301 and Flatline, a fairly off meta loadout with no good close or long range, just mid, but I'm familiar enough with both to be able to get one of the highest damage and kill wins in ages
I agree, even in ranked i play legends that i just enjoy. My main legends also funnily enough are generally considered out of the meta, mirage and ballistic but i still am doing decently this season. Ranked feels much harder than before but I'm in plat 3 and my goal is diamond so its all good
I played one game of Apex on Thursday and got the win. In solos. The crazy thing is I got the solo win with vantage. I just rotated with the ring, took the game slowly and took height when needed. You wouldn’t think of her being good in solos but she has really good movement and can keep enemies at bay with the sniper. And also easy to third party with the sniper. I’ve been playing her a good bit more the past two seasons esp in ranked
This is so true! I do play different legends but no matter what I always end up back on Newcastle because I enjoy him and I'm comfortable on him! He also has so much potential!
I love Newcastle but in my group I’m usually always the first into a fight/up front most of the time so there’s a good chance I’ll go down first which is partially a waste of Newcastle if he is always getting revived instead of reviving
I agree! I main Maggie, and while I’m not the best, her playstyle suits me very well, and I’m able to compete with some better players. Also shotgun are unironically one of the best weapons to use against the havoc so there’s that too.
I like how he tries to blame his loss against faide on his portal placement but we can all literally see that he was getting shot at by some dude offscreen which is what really triggered the loss
