the gun leveling is painful and u need those attachments to have an edge against other players, so unlock Mp7 (close fights) and ACR, use your double exp weapons on it and don't change weapons until lvl 20ish, where u unlocked good enough attachments.

Heres a tip lol you can use preset classes to level up your custom weapons but you already have to have the specific weapon unlocked first

I’ve always tended to gravitate more to the AR’s in cod, so naturally I enjoy both the AK and ACR very much, but I’ll admit I only choose the AK when I know I’m taking a lot more close/mid range fights instead of mid/long range. I find it really neat how the MP7 and ACR are both Swiss Army knife type weapons, but every weapon in the game has its own thing that makes it good in the right situations.

sounds like the gun balance is actually pretty good

My favorites so far are the MK20 (2 shot kill is nasty and is decent for close range as long as you don't miss) and the Vector (Fun and kinda challenging, feels like a duelist type weapon)

pro tip: if you think the AA-12 is bad, get the extended mag and have fun whiping out an entire obj without reloading

The M16 has the fastest TTK if you set it up right. Its intended to be a mid to long range fight more like a semi-sniper/dmr type weapon. pull the trigger twice and watch the man go down. I am having a blast with it and I like it. I can control the battlefield with it. Once I fully unlock what I need on it, It will be set up for 0 recoil

No one is talking about the mk20 ive been using that thing for a bit and i can say that a the chris vector are my faves. The mk20 is super slept on 2 tap to up body and 1 to the head,and even if they barely survive ur just one tap away. Ive gotten some seriously crazy headshot team wipes. And the vector plays RIDICULOUSLY well on that like arena map,its so fast and the ttk is insane.

The m870 is what ive been running after the first 3 or 4 matches i played. I like using the invisibility suit with it

The game is a lot of fun. I hope it expands in a good direction.

i love the Vector, yes the dmg fall off is brutal but on small maps it literally dominates and on medium maps / large I use the ACR, no reason to use anything thing else tbh

Mp7 is definitely my favorite weapon but the tac 50 is always on when im doing escort missions

This game has soo much potential being made by some of the Og cod devs they have the recipe for success hopefully they learn from the recent cods.

4:05 about the M16, idk if you play on controller or KBM but on controller with aim assist it's a solid A tier tbh

The magnum is a really underrated secondary and I find it very fun to use with quickscoping

The M44 is a one-shot for all players except Phantoms, and you don’t need to hit a headshot for a oneshot kill.

On paper the mp7 is better than the vector due to range...but the vector just feels like a shredder, and you can forge a class that extends the range withoutt much negatives

M870 is definitely S tier. Almost got it to 100 already. The most powerful by far. A buddy and I made a sniper switch guns by going after them with the M870.

Very glad to see some respect for the M249. The thing is SLOW but man does it absolutely shred people. In game modes like escort the thing is a BEAST

If yall want some high tier techs for shotgun sliming sprint with pistol, jump (midair switch to shotgun) slide and you carry the momentum from the pistol sprint into the slide and the pellet spread doesn’t go haywire :))

I use the quick mag on the m249 and sorta use it more like a AR and the 60 round mag can still pray down and area

The mk20 with ads attachments is s tier just having to hit 2 shots is op

Svd with the heavy barrel is a 2 shot demon

I love the vector and mdr, had an escort game using both earlier and went like 40-10

Close vector, mid-long range ACR. Unless you use 1 shot sniper hitting every headshot you do you. Most gunfights i lose dude is using ACR with no reaction time to react plus its base mag is good for getting 2-3 kills before reloading. Really strong, not saying mess up the handling but less bullets in the base mag would be good for balancing it 🤷🏻‍♂️ what yall think?

Is ranked worth playing even though it’s trial??

They need to fix the shotguns centering out of sprint. Every time you stop to shoot, depending on the sway or step your on, it'll be off center everytime.

TAC50 belongs in S tier. Set up for ADS speed, and in the hands of anyone with decent reaction time and aim, it is basically impossible to win against in most engagements. You either have to pray that the sniper misses your body or you have to wait for them to look some where else to peek them. The only downside is it has 5 shots per reload, but ideally speaking, that's still 5 kills before reloading and most people in this game can't even get 5 kills before dying with any weapon.

It really hard to rank them without unlocking all the attachments. Even the best weapon feel trash when the net code and desync issues are so random and frustrating.

i love that the good guns in xdefiant are comparable to bo2's s tier guns..

For those saying its hard to level guns my ACR is already gold and my 50 sniper or what ever its called is about 20ish right now and a few others are up there too i went up 8 levels 1 game with my ACR granted it was x2 exp and i used boosters but its easy enough

Me and my best friend haven’t found a game we both enjoy together in literal years. We would play a little ow2 and gta online but in reality, we never find games we both like (he is very picky on video games.) And this is the first time we’ve found a game we have both enjoyed since before fortnite was huge in 2020

I've been running a full mobility, ADS speed, sprint to fire MP7 with the fast reload Mag and all the rate of fire attachments and I feel like I'm always ready to shoot with no downtime demolishing everyone. Range isn't really a problem because you can do so much with movement to get out or get closer. Once I got it Silver I'm gonna try the vector which all my friends have been playing and I think it suits my playstyle really well. I don't care about the gold guns I think silver looks so damn clean.

3 or 4 shots with the AA-12!? I wish i was that lucky! I have to put on the full 8 round mag for 1 kill like 5 meters away

My personal favourites are AK47, SVD and P90 mainly because the rate of fire and mag size matches the biological latency of my 42 year old brain. I stay on target much better with these guns.

M16 should be higher idk what your running to get 3 burst kills but mine only takes 1-2 at most gun is insane

I love this game but the no kill streaks or something to really work towards does get annoying. But this is the most fun I’ve had playing an FPS game in a long time.

the m60 is nasty if you hit the shots ive had a few 40 an 50+ kill games with it

I disagree with the LMG cat, I usually swap from pistol to LMG often and zoom around a map. LMG are meant to be stationary guns and not butt slide rail-shooting weapons completely. if others can make that magic happen, awesome, but they are great for defense modes more then rush modes. To me they are outstanding in gun battles. As you have the advantage in mid to longer ranges, specially if you tap the trigger with them. However if you are going against a SMG, na your toast up close. :P

Don't sleep on the AA12 when levelled up with right attachments it is a CQB beast

I don’t know about the no jumping with the M870. All I see is people flying around corners with this thing with pinpoint accuracy.

When i only had starter weapons m249 was my go to because i jated the m4

The P90 LITERALLY has zero recoil. I melt anything that breathes and my aim is average. MP7 is sick too!

People need to wake up and see the power of the db shotgun first game ever I had 20 kills and it’s by far the most enjoyable experience I’ve had while gaming

Heavy barrel on the m16 makes it a lot better and only slightly worse than the ak

except no D tier while A+ exists and the placement of SVD and 870 i would agree. SVD has its S tier place, the 870 i think it has its moments but cant put anywhere higher than B tier. You lose so many interactions till you win one. good vid anyways.

Idk if I'm the only one who's been facing issues with hit reg there's times where I die even though I went behind cover and still get killed and also times where the person I was shooting took cover and still died because it was registering the hit still even though I was no longer even shooting it's not a rare thing for me either it's every match and I know it's not my internet because I get a gig download and upload I also NEVER lag like this in other shooters
