The most beautiful motorhome ever built. The manuals were incredibly complete and helpful. I remember the ball-type leveling system for the rear wheels with its safety system to release excess pressure. It is quite well preserved. Really beautiful. Congratulations
Thanks very much! My mechanic charges $160 to replace the headlight on my Saturn 2007 Aura XR. Your instructions allowed me to do it for the cost of a single bulb, a sore back for awhile and 2 hours of work -- mostly spent looking for the right socket to use on the two little bolts and the preparation of jacking up the car, etc. Didn't need to remove the tire. One note -- I'm not tall - just 5'7, and my arms didn't reach far enough to secure the bulb in the wired socket, so I discovered it was possible to remove and replace it with one hand. Took some fiddling but it worked! I'm thinking of offering my services to other Saturn Aura owners.
Drove one of these that was produced as a bus in the city of Boca Raton, FL. Loved when I had the route with this bus. AC worked great. Only knock was it went through brakes like crazy. Wasn’t made for all that stop and go driving on a local bus route.
The people I bought it from had just had it painted. It was the three color green. Even though I do think that was cool. I also appreciate the design of the vehicle. I like how white is the absence of color and the shape is what you see. So I'll be leaving it white. I might think about a stripe or two all the way down it.
The fans of this MH are of the opinion that this is the greatest MH ever built and they are STUNNED that no other builder is not building these today. Well, its like this, if this WAS the greatest MH ever built many builders would be making them but alas, its not what the market is interested in at this time. The hot MH model today is campervans build on the current Euro van chassis. !
Yep, just like mine a 77 Palm Beach model. Look inside the glove box and it has a decal plate with engine size and axles weight. Under the hood on the right side is the vin plate with the same information.
@@markst.germain9286 mine is the 403 olds small block. It's pistons are a larger diameter with a shorter stroke. It's not uncommon for manufacturers to use up whare house stock before making running changes during a model year. So if yours has the 455 big block, then it is an early 77 model in that production year.
I love these! ❤ I think they look like something out of Star Trek. It looks ready to lift off for space. The only thing missing are the lower nacelles you'd find on a shuttle.
We refer to it as the imperial shuttle and that sticker that was on the kitchen counter is the seal of the imperial galactic Navy from Star wars and is now on the back of the motorhome.
