If the British held a genuine inquiry into the killings by the Paras, and found that the Paras did murder innocent civilians and held them responsible, then Bloody Sunday 5 months hence would not have occurred and so saving 30 years of misery & bloodshed. But the British never admit to their wrongdoings, ( even the Germans admitted to their crimes in WW2) and even to this day, 60 years ago, they still refuse to open the files on the Dublin/Monaghan bombings (biggest loss of life in the Troubles) because of their own involvement in it!

By Joseph Curtis For Mailonline Published: 16:17, 11 March 2019 | Updated: 21:05, 11 March 2019 Retired British Army general Sir Geoffrey Howlett, 89, today told families of the victims of the Ballymurphy massacre he had 'enormous sympathy' with them at an inquest investigating the killings of 10 people in west Belfast in August 1971 A retired British Army general has expressed 'enormous sympathy' with families whose relatives died in the Ballymurphy massacre in 1971 during The Troubles. 10 Catholics were shot and killed by British paratroopers in west Belfast over three days in August 1971 in disputed circumstances, with the victims initially said to be members of the IRA. But General Sir Geoffrey Howlett, 89, who was a lieutenant colonel in the Parachute Regiment at the time, today told an inquest he acknowledged most of those killed were innocent.

Paid for by taxes comming from mainland britain remember northern ireland needs 10 billion a year from westminster just to stay afloat. So your comment is foolish to say the least , the only money the unionists have is handed to them by the british goverment through taxes from the rest of britain. Northern ireland in the hands of britain is a basket case.

@@lfcgero35 You're the foolish one, or just ignorant if you think that, all the tax paying workers in the UK, That's Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England pay taxes to the UK government. Now it's Republicans in Northern Ireland who's mission is to put a drain on the UK government, work, do not pay tax, claim job seekers allowance and every benefit you can think of, they are instructed how to do so.
