Great video/videos! Question, what size is your tank? I love the combination of fish youve got and would like to replicate it to some extent but only have a 40 gallon at the moment. The turtle is still a hatchling, about 3 inches. Should i wait til i get a bigger aquarium?
Thank you. The tanknin this video is 50 gallons. Same length and width as a 40, just taller. However my turtle has since grown to about a 10-12 inches and I've upgraded to a 300 gallon custom aquarium!
You could add the fish now, just don't not too many and not big ones. Then you can change the stocking along the way as you upgrade your tank. Would be good to bear in mind that your turtle will continue to grow in the intermediate tanks until it reaches full size so good to have some room to grow so the tank doesn't get too small too fast with the additional fish on there!
I just bought a convict cichlid with a few widow tetras. I wish the guy at the store advised me how aggressive these guys can be. It’s killed all but 1 widow tetra. Any suggestions on what other fish I could add with my convict cichlid? I have 2 3-spotted gourami which seem to be fine with the cichlid at the moment.
They are like Tribbles (multiplying over and over and on and on)! I accidently got a female and they overran my 75g fishtank in months! I am still trying to get rid of them lol. I can guarantee they can live in many conditions!
You have absolutely convinced me to get tiger bards. They are really stunning and seeing them in you tank with a turtle. That aqua scape really makes those fish pop. I love it
I have a question im new to keeping the asain arrowana so i got a SHB GOLDEN Malaysian ARROWANA roughly abiut 6-7 inches shall i start tanning it ive noticed its golden shine on the cheeks and how many hours day shall i have light on
Such incredible fish. My cichlid is very smart. I see him actively trying to figure out what I want from him when I teach new tricks. My favorite fish I have ever kept. Easily with the most personality I have kept.
I really hope that the fish hobby would be alive again in sg, it seems like nowadays many people are too glued to their mobile devices to even do this things. Also fish shop owners in SG don’t earn much pls at least try and come down to support them
For me I love tiger barbs wayyyy more than tetras and guppies. Their more entertaining and fun to watch, and since piranhas are ban in SG tiger barbs are the mini versions of it. But one thing is for sure tiger barbs are aggressive. Owned a few many years ago and at midnight they were fighting with the blood parrots
I first started this hobby back in 2014 but stop at around 2017 due to expenses like paying for the electricity etc etc. whilst seeing fish videos like this makes me want to start it all again
oh uh i bought an blood parrot as an accident but hes still healthy i buyed him cuz no one buyed him he was so hyper when i buyed him he just starts to dig and harrasing my blue polar parrot fishes
