The great benefit of these devices is to monitor on demand charging as used on many modern cars and is frankly a pain in the ass to test properly with a voltmeter. I would love to see a current draw variant with a shunt for low currents as dc clamp meters are highly innacurate below about 500mA.
Hello, my problem has been solved 😁 We are more like the crowd of Pats and Mates who want to create very basic devices and we run into problems, I checked the connections once, then it was fixed and then it broke, now the red led when A single face lights up when you tap a little like early humans, unfortunately the adventure led to trouble
Does anyone know about Flymo contour 500e? I used it for thefirsttime to cut knee high grass on the lawn. It worked perfectly until near the end when it was still making the noise but not cutting grass. When i checked the line spool, it was empty. Does it mean the line got eaten up whilst cutting the grass? Any constructions replies wouldbe helpful to me. Thanks.
both lights come on when i use a protected battery. i guess the battery's built in protection kicks in sooner and disconnects battery from the tp4056 causing both blue and red light to come on.
Thank you for this helpful video. I'm thinking of ordering some of these to help with the noise of the torrential rain we're having these days. Do you find these helped to reduce the noise of rainfall on the windows at all?
Thank you for this video. The instructions provide by Velux were terrible. Your instructions were perfectly clear. The downside is that the awning itself doesn't provide that much cover
Thanks im looking into getting these. But my window is quite long and it won't stay in a fixed position so i don't think i could install the hooks from the inside.
Hi Wayne I saw your video about the vaccum hose my question to you is if I use my pool vaccum hose as a poor mans shop vac hose will it be fine for dust metal shavings etc as well as for liquids ? thoughts please thank you!
Waste of money! I bought three of these BM2 Battery Voltage Monitors so that I can check on my batteries of my stored/parked vehicles as well as my daily driver in my garage and driveway and I wanted to be able to check them while sitting in my home. The range is about 12 feet as I have to be at my front door to get a signal. This is typical of Bluetooth devices where they state 10 meters or 33 feet but in unobstructed view, but not under a hood shrouded in metal. If I need to be that close to a vehicle, I might as well pop the hood and take a DMM meter to the battery.
For anyone facing the same issue: Try a different charger cable/adapter combination. It worked for me. I had this problem. Both the LEDs were on, the 3.7 V battery was just being charged to 3.56V, and was discharging very quickly as well. I changed the charger and cord and now the same module, same battery is working fine and charging to max as well.
B@Q will cut the front sheet to size or a local timber supplier. Just need the wood batton which can be bought off the shelf to make the edges. Glue with wood glue of superglue. Another option is to make one from cardboard
Online calculator came out at 10p an hour. That's if its running all the time which it won't as it only tops up the cooling plates when it needs to. We run for 4 Ish hours a day at the moment in the evening. It's such a small amount I don't even think I'll notice on the monthly bill. All part of winter running costs I guess for a better standard of living. I've got another 10lt dehumidifier coming for upstairs loft conversion. I'll be running the two and will put up another review on that one for interest.
If anyone can answer this query please .... If I have damp and mould due to roof repairs that need doing and still waiting for this to be done 😞 and also poorly fitted double glazing windows etc the damp and mould is now starting to come into contact with my belongings ect so the sofa my wheelchair ect would it best placing the humidifier by the window or the middle of the room please
@@zoe4673 Summer fan helps more if you got one along with the dehumidifier. To answer the dehumidifier will dry the room out so place whenever is convenient
from my experience it fells like there should be rubber seal between the lid and the bucket . The lid clips on a side are a bit loose. If you add rubber seal ( f.e. the ones for door/window drafts) the seal between the lid and bucket will be tighter and the clips will be tight as well
Hi Wayne very helpful video, thank you Starter was slow and was making a slow scratchy noise Then just a loud click and no other noises And now no noise at all guessing I’m doing this myself
Stereo has a bolt hole at the back in the cente. You can get a leg bracket in some kits that can lock on a metal support in some cars as you slide stereo in. I think I used a L bracket with a block of wood to support the stereo rear. This is a bit trial and error getting the correct size for support. I've also used strong string in the past, fixed at the back of stereo to the rear bolt and run sting up over something behind dash, then when pulling string it lifts the rear of stereo to get it in. Just cut off strings when it's in. You can also fix some wood or plastic packers to the rear of opening to support rear of the stereo. Whatever works to support the stereo rear. The cage has wings you puch out that hold it in
Is this a good permanent solution? Unfortunately we are losing our cat soon and my kids need visual reminders of our cat removed when he's gone. Im struggling to find something online to block it.
Yes I guess. Could add blu tack or small blob of silicone to hold it on. Or get the entire panel replaced. Used to be around £50 to buy one a few years back for DIY. You can trim to size. Or get one fitted but will cost more.
Thank you very much Wayne for this generous gift of your time and expertise. The Velux picture instructions were incomprehensible, while yours gave much more of an idea of what to do. My morning has been 2 hours trying to understand, then 20 minutes to actually fit. Very helpful to tell us to remove and throw away those mystery wooden blocks.
Tell me WHY LOCATION needs to be turned ON for a more accurate reading. What BS! I always have my LOCATION turned off on my mobile phone. None of their effing business what my location is.
