Have you noticed they're so dim? Even the low beam are dim not only high beam. I bought a 50,000LM bulbs with photo of how it's supposed to look like but for some reason it feels like these headlights are limiting it? Or cant reach that 50kLM?
Yes I did man the side r line badge aswell as the r line emblem in the grill. The grill came with the bumper and the r line badges looks sick. It's not an r line though it's a 1.2 tsi but it looks sick
I'm thinking of doing suspension. Air intake . Re map. Then eventually other bolt ons.. hopefully it the videos do good we can do an engine swap because it is a 1.2 so I don't think we will get a crazy amount of power out of it
This is a comment below. Perhaps you should do a long distance road trip with the polo and measure the fuel consumption, how much you spend on fuel for the trip and maybe the cost of ownership...
That is am awesome idea man , I really like that idea. I'll get to planning a road trip. Here in Western Australia all the towns are super far apart compared to other places in the world so it would be fun
@the-rws-gamer55 Yes I want to take it to the track to get a time and then use that as a base before I start doing mods. Then after I do mods I want to get a tune ,better intake and hopefully mode depending on how good the videos turn out.
hi mate, quick question regarding the r line polo with the 1.2 tsi. I was looking around my engine bay and listening for noisy (learnt that the sewing machine tapping noises come from the fuel injector system). Anyways, I noticed my crank puller/harmonic balancer looked like it was spinning off-center however i bought the car used a month ago so maybe there's some tolerance there. your engine bay sounds one to one with mine so best compare with yours! the question: could you upload a video (unlisted or such) showing the crank pulley/pulley system so i can compare? no rush and cheers for all the great content
Thank you man for the question. When I purchased my car I also wondered the same thing. I tried a few different things to try and limit the noise. I found that making sure the oil is topped up and use some sort of Fuel Treatment (Cleans & Lubricates) the noise gets reduced alot. I used the Lucas one and was very happy with it. I stopped using it about 4 months ago and the notices have come back I need to get some more 😩 the bottle does claim it saves more fuel then it costs to buy the bottle ill need to test that out.
i bought these of the second hand marketplace and i see thaty you are using the h7 bulbs included. i want to use my own bulbs but i also see that you are using a special included connector but i didnt get that from the guy i bought that off because he wanted to keep the leds. and so also the cables./ can i still connect them in some sort of way when i get the headlight sent to ME?
Hey man sorry for the late reply. Yes if you plug your oem light harnes into the light it will work unless you have your indicators on a different plug. If all the wires are on one connector it won't be a problem.
ps the screws holding the plate holding intake pipe from turbo to throttle body can be removed using the screw find in the in tool kit in the boot that can with the car

Hey man thank you for the support and the comment man I appreciate it big time. The bov is only for turbocharged cars. They are designed to release excess pressure between the air intake manifold and the turbo charger. The 1.4 polo is also has a turbo charger installed. Usually if you have a small motor you will have a turbo fitted to it for extra power. Vws also have turbo on most of their cars, if not all of them, rolling out of the factory.

Hey man thankyou for the comment. I think one of the plugs might be plugged in incorrectly if that doesn't fix the problem see if any wires are loose. If that is still not the problem and the oem light works correctly. I'd contact vland for a replacement
Oh man I agree big time, I want to lower the polo, my wife isn't very keen but like all the mods she ends up loving them once she sees it . Will definitely need to lover it hopefully my the end of the year

Hi did the same on my polo and they work great up until the engine runs then they dont work 😢, switch off engine and the work perfectly. I have no idea what os happening
That is very weird man I'm not entirely sure why yours does that. If you wired everything correctly it should play up. And if it does the indicators might be faulty
Hey man sorry for the late reply I'm currently working on finding a good bulb because my current ones don't work thelat well. In the next few weeks I'm going to test out an auxito set ill post about it and see how good they work.
Hey man did you only delete res or did you delete cat also? I think of doing a cat delete but afraid will mess up car. Reliability and engine cause its my daily. Any problems with the blow off valve?? is it worth it?
Hey man, I only removed the cat and back box in the short. I made and error with the video text. I replaced the pipe after and only removed the resonator, I've made a video on that you can check out.
Im sure there will be some videos out there man, tiguans are nice cars. Polos and golfs have alot of aftermarket mods though which is awesome. Either way you will enjoy working on your car.

Well done. A good route to go would be to put a high flow downpipe on and keep the muffler as is (maybe just add some tips) The down pipe will help with the flow, potentially increase your power (definitely with a tune) and it will give it a much better and louder tone aswell!! All the best
