I found it funny when the characters turned in to peach after you jumped on them mate I always like seeing these game genie codes and what destruction or greatness they can cause 🙂👍
@@gallowaygaming75 thanks buddy! At least i was able to show all the exits so anyone that didnt know them can watch these gameplays and go back and try to do them themselves 🙂
Great job on one of the most misunderstood games ever made! Once you figure out how it works it's incredible, but it's overly complicated and getting to that point can be a real chore! Anyone giving this a shot has earned a new sub!
So.. I'm working my way through this one, but slowly.. Mario 3, I totally understand, but Mario World is just overwhelming to my simple mind! 😅 There are so many different levels, maps, zones, blocks, power ups, warp zones, different color Yoshis... 🫨 Great playing though, I think I'm enjoying it! 😅
@@retroprojections ive asked myself...is this game too long to do a full walkthrough on my channel? I dont know lol. Im almost to the end of it anyway so i might as well finish it 😂😊
@@RetroGamerKnee it's very interesting to see all the ins and outs, I've never been interested enough in it to play for more than 4 or 5 minutes myself.. but yeah, this game is massive!
Very well played Anthony I would never have got as far as you have as I have no patience and would have rage quitted 🤣 that spike part in 20 minutes would have made me throw my controller 🙂👍
2:44 If you start the level without Yoshi, try not to get the star while holding baby yoshi then while holding baby yoshi you could swim faster and get the other star
@@RetroGamerKnee it's not a Nintendo vs SEGA thing, as I hate, Hate, HATE Sonic The Hedgehog.. even more than Mario. I just really can't stand most scrolling platformers..
@@retroprojections i was thinking about that and i remember you saying you never cared for Sonic. I see you play alot of beat em ups and RPGs. I thought of that after i commented lol 😂
I agree its my favorite 2D platform game of all time 😊 i know thats just a matter of opinion though. And when this game was released and i would play it on a store Kiosk all the time before i was able to get an SNES it just struck me as a real breakthrough in gaming technology back then😄 thanks for watching buddy!
@@MockingjayYT how do you beat this game? I have yet to figure that one out..i mean i got to Jason twice here. Do you just have to eventually beat him and it goes to congratulations the end? 😅
@@RetroGamerKnee From what I remember, the torch is the best weapon. I forgot which character is best to play as but there is one. What you have to do is successfully fend him off 3 times before all the children are gone. There is a pattern to how he walks around the map. There are several YT videos on it. I learned his pattern and was waiting on the other side of the lake for him for our final showdown but he got the last child and the game ended. I will have to give it a go again sometime.
Its cool when i discovered sega genesis game genie back in 90s but never owned one in till i saw my friend with one and he let me borrow it and i started messing with it and started learning how to create my own codes still do today im working on mortal kombat 1 fatalities😊
@@retroprojections funny you say that...i didnt mention it but thought about it alot and was wishing there was an on off switch for this game genie. I could have played to the end of the game that way. And would have been able to watch Wart the last boss drop off the screen with the earthquake on like i wanted to see 😂
My RetroUSB AVS has a built-in Game Genie, and I believe it has a button combo to enable/disable the codes' effects. Yeah, that would have been awesome on the original tho.
Stretch it out-out-out Caramel-o! I used to love that commercial! The candy bar was pretty good too! 😂 These stretched out levels, like most Game Genie codes, are more trouble than they're worth!
