Very well done buddy! That was a pleasure to watch. I think you are right, you blasted past that final world! What are the biggest differences that you noticed between the two versions? Obviously there are some different door placements, and the step down in power, after you take a hit is less gradual in the Japanese version.. Cool to see! Thanks for sharing this!
@@retroprojections i know if you go through the Fortress in World 1 the one spiked ceiling that comes down is laid out a bit different with the spikes where the door is in a different spot at the end with it. But other than that and the one block that isnt cut out on the one battle tank thats about all i noticed. Thanks for watching buddy 😊
If you pay attention to the Credit you will see that in Japan it is not called Dark Land, it is called Castle of Kuppa, which it is the japanese english spelling of Castle of Koopa. Do you know what I hate about the famicom classic Mini, they don't have Super mario bros. the lost levels since that was the Japanese Super mario bros.2 so instead of that game they put Super mario bros USA as Super Mario bros.2 in the family computer mini which it is wrong. If you want the real Super mario bros. 2 J you have to illegaly put it in yourself well illegaly according to Nintendo. This is why I never bought the mini version because they are just rip-off for me since they would be a lot of game missing, and the other rip off cord for the controler too short, you have to play 1 inch away from the TV.
I did not know that. Thank you for sharing with me i love getting new knowledge on games i play 😊 and your right about the Famicom Mini...cords are very short and they cant be replaced easily if one goes bad. And i cant stand that the Japanese version of Mario 2 isnt there either. That really doesnt make sense that they didnt put it on their own system in Japan and put the US version on it instead. Fully agreed! Thanks for watching!😊
