Words are often said to have power. What is not said that often is that they can hurt and even spread hatred and hostility, just like they can heal and bring about love, empathy and wisdom. They can divide, distance and "dehumanise", just like they can connect and “rehumanise" those who have been dehumanised.
East and West, North and South, regardless of race, sex, gender, colour, religion, ethnicity, nationality or any other category, we are all made of stories. Stories bring us together, untold stories keep us apart.
I need a list of your post showing the different sides and their use of it. I gave a list to a conservative and asked them to give me a list of what they think it is. They could not do it. I have searched the internet and there is not a list. A list seems easy.
The local mob reacted prematurely to the shooting of Michael Brown, before any investigation, before having any knowledge of what transpired. Michael Brown was stopped on the street by a cop and asked if he knew anything about the petty theft he had just committed at a convenience store. Brown reacted by attacking the cop and trying to take his pistol. Brown was 6'4" 280#, the cop was a smaller and wimpier guy. Brown ran away, only to turn around and come charging at the cop again. That was when he was shot. A grand jury, with a representative percentage of people of color, voted almost unanimously to not indict. An FBI investigation into civil rights abuses cleared the officer. The black district attorney investigated, found the cop acted appropriately. Most of the witnesses were black. Facts matter.
I've heard what u have to say.... But I question your claim of "feminist essay/literature". How? For me... From what I've heard I think and I feel this book is actually the transit of time, era, class and gender The book yeah has this hint of broken conventionality like you've claim yeah...and we could see how the world and categorization of a man influence Orlando's style of writing and conformity to society standard as to when he was a woman. From a woman point we could see the existence of those women in the court I think the dark constaiene who could do and undo... That's game shakers of society in the world. So I think it's move like a transit for me

Woke. People that have begun to be engaged about public policy both local and national issues. People want answers,to give their opinions. Woke is a word that conservative News made up to discredit people that are not in agreement with them. TFB !
My family and I don't like the word "normal." We passionately believe that it is just a subjective label that underm ines people. In my family, we don't judge. My mom was pregnt with my older sister at 18. Then she had me with an old boyfriend at 23. Then she got back together with my sister's dad (they're not married though) and they had another baby; he's 11 and has ASD. I have that and OCD. Our sister had a baby too, the same age as our mom the first time. My family and I (and yes, I include my siblings' dad as family) even go to thera py. Do you know how often we've been judgd? SO MANY times. And that is why we do not judge others or believe in the word "normal." Everybody is weird, everybody is different; there is no "normal and abnormal."
it is not normal for me not to be as stupid as the normal people are ! I grew up thinking that everyone was smarter than me ( I'm autistic and dyslexic ) ,later in life I found out that these so called normal people know nothing and believe stupidly believe nazi socialist communist democrat rino lies ,because they fluoride poisoned lying fake news propagandized in democrat public schools and colleges, know nothing ,by design !!!

I think what women REALLY mean when they use this term "mansplaining" is to dismiss men when they use logical consistency to call women out on their unfair behavior. Because when someone tries to use bad arguements to get their way, the issue is not "man" in mansplaining, the issue is the bad arguements use to get their way. It's a really sexist term and, as a man, I don't apprecaite it - as neither would you if someone dismissed you with 'woman-splaining' or some such nonsense
As an elderly Irishman I was raised on tea. I then joined the army and it was more tea, I think the British would have lost the war if they couldn’t have a brew before and after battle. And then I met my beloved, a Moroccan woman she introduced me to coffee. She was the youngest in her family and was deaf. She told me when all her siblings left the house she sit with her Mum in the morning drink coffee and talk, she told me this so many times I realise those coffee mornings were incredibly precious to her. In London she nagged me to buy a coffee making machine I resisted because her coffee made in her battered coffeee pot was perfect. She got breast cancer 10 years ago and once she recovered she insisted we bought a home near her Mum in Morocco. Last Summer whilst here her passport only had 2 months left on it, so she couldn’t drive back with me through Spain, she had to wait with Mum in her home and she spent those mornings alone chatting with her Mum over coffee. Her cancer returned and whisked her away in February. I’m typing this on our patio in Morocco with my muesli and a cup of coffee and tears streaming down my face. Your talk about coffee has set me off, and don’t get me started on Kanza’s Mum she is devastated, Kanza came to her in a dream and kissed her on her forehead. She wasn’t saying goodbye she was saying see you later. I hope there is coffee in heaven, cos there is heaven in coffee.
Men and women teamed up over the years to split the labor. Gender roles might be changing but you don't have the moral authority to judge figures in history through the lense of your comfy life in the modern world. You have no idea how tough life was back then.

😂😂 'Mansplaining', a bigoted made up word to shut down debate and conversation. A man would never say, 'you're b!tch -splaining' or Femsplaining, because a man doesnt need special protection from a woman in that way. Its only the ones who claim to want 'equal rights' that demand special protection, special treatment, and special rules for how men speak to women. If a man is explaining something that you are already educated about, you can simply let them know that without becoming a bigot. Men: never, ever fall for this kind of bigoted special requirements from weak and insecure women. Women: if you feel you've been talked down by a man, speak your truth and stand on your own two feet. As soon as you use these made up words based on gender, you're only making yourself look weaker. Men talk like that to other men all the time. If a man is speaking to you in a way that you don't appreciate, it's less likely that he's doing so because you're a woman and more likely because you're a b!tch. Own it! 😂
I have always admired the courage of Elif Şafak's writing and so it saddens me to see that in the subject of searching for definitions of love she has totally ignored one of the most incredible definitions which in fact came out from the Middle East. That which says "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails!" Quote from the Bible, the New Testament (1. Corinthians 13:4-8). How can such a powerful description be ignored?
The first part of the video was beautiful and inspiring and then you started taking about the climate "crisis" and ruined everything. This is how brainwashing works unfortunately... Good info wrapped in political propaganda
