No big secret! Just the tried and true methods for robust, healthy plant growth in a submersed environment: 1. Good water - Clean water, good maintenance, weekly large water changes, lots of flow, and water that isn't super high in KH (my KH is 6 degrees, would rather it be lower, but it's fine) 2. Supplemental CO2 injection -- all life needs carbon. Plants need more of it than they do any other nutrient. Plants are starting at a disadvantage by being submersed, so consistent CO2 supplementation will always improve their health. 3. Access to comprehensive nutrients (fish waste, fertilizers, etc.) on a consistent basis. 4. Proper lighting - Of course, gotta be bright enough for the plants you want to grow, but also spectrum matters. You can see the true colors of these plants because of the narrow spectrum bandwidth lighting being used. It's not a cheap light (this one was over $400 for a 4 foot light, but I was using Fluval 3.0 lights before and needed 2 of them, so really the same price). Consistency - Consistent light schedule, co2 schedule, maintenance routine, feeding, etc. Plants take time to adapt to changes in their environment and nutrient access, but algae doesn't.

I got mine from her too. She sent me 10 of them.and the package got delayed 2 days, and only 3 survived. I have been waiting to see when I can get more from Lady Diane. I have been waiting 9 months 🫠
