Hi new sub here 🎉 I'm buying the GT1 $1499 so not bad from Amazon, any advice, issues you had? Anything? Good bad, just want to get as much info. Thanks
@Jakepp235 hi and welcome, i have only had 1 problem with the GT1 at 50 miles on the Odometer and that was a tire valve stem randomly popping out of place from the rubber stem that brass metal part that gets the air in got unglued and i had to replace it but other then that zero issues with the GT1. Its a great scooter 😎👍
@Jakepp235 i ordered it from segway directly and apparently one of the reasons i had such a hard time finding it was because they call it (Air Nuzzle) and not (Tire Valve Stem) 😅 so it turns out the valve stem for the P65 and P100S fits the GT1 and GT2 100% the Max G2 valve stem i had originally installed was way too short and i had a hard time putting air in the tire. Its in stock right now so i would take advantage of it and order 2 and keep them as a spare should you need it. I couldn't use my GT1 for 2 weeks because i couldn't find the proper size valve stem. 😅 store.segway.com/air-nozzle-p65-p100s
@Jakepp235 as for replacing it, i used two dewalt branded C clamps to put pressure on one side of the tire wall and the opposite side of the C clamp being against the rim of the scooter to help one side of the tire off the bead. I them pressed it out with my thumb and installed the new one and then used an air compressor i have to re inflate the tire and get it to pop back into the bead of the rim and it worked. 😁👍
Thank you ....I currently have the RCPII and I am considering the Yolobox Pro with the Rode wireless pro for an event I will be shooting/interviewing and wasn't sure about the settings ...guess what....my algorithm found you 😂😂😂 Many thanks for the tips....This helps tremendously 💪🏾💯👑.
@SlimMichaelSpaghetti i have a dewalt 5 Volt 10 Amp hour battery pack that gives me 3 hours and 15 minutes of power for the dashcam, the dashcam does suck out power at 5 Volts 3 Amps so it seems to be pretty much on point with what the dewalt battery can give.
@SlimMichaelSpaghetti that would be great. Im gonna mention this to JPL the group leader and see what he says. He usually goes on his own and finds new trails for us to try out. 😁👍
@@THEAVERAGEGUY1983 That be ill for sure. I know Arnold Schwarzenegger often goes to golds gym and is seen riding his bicycle. I don't think he'll be around that long unfortunately

Man oh man oh man ohhhhhh man! I hope that your son realizes how fortunate he is to have such a great father who gets him super awesome and super expensive gifts like that Solar E-Scooter you got him.... WOW! That E-Scooter is just totally awesome dude and you trickin it out too just for him, man that's just so super cool man! Back in the day we would say... "That's far out man" or we'd say... "Bitchin duuuuude!" I also love how you got him fully outfitted! He might not think so but he really looks cool on it with all that gear! That body armor especially looks killer! I know that you are concerned about his safety and you are spot on about that! You know from your incident how hard that dang concrete is and it doesn't take any speed at all for that asphalt to tear yo ass up! So you stay on to him about that and as you know especially about that helmet! That traumatic brain injury is one that you don't have to bounce back from if you know what I mean! BTW... I meant to post on your update video about your incident that I was very relieved to hear that you were okay and able to make a full recovery. I have had a few bad falls on my mountain bike (I do DH mountain biking) and on my skateboard so yeah, wearing protective gear is not only smart irs essential! I love your decision to get you two a wireless communication setup so that when you two go on rides together you can always be in contact with him, that's a great idea. I know that you will but I just have to say it, he sure that you take your time with him and do "baby steps" until you can his riding skills are where they need to be and you can teach him good judgment! I mean, the E-Scooter is over the top awesome, I mean just so super awesome and I really think that it's one of the greatest you could have gotten for him, and at 13yo that's just great for him and for you, because it's a super fun and cool thing that you can do together and that means a lot in his life and yours too. We all want you to have countless hours of fun and experience a high quality life with each other on your E-Scooter's but the last thing we want, or you want 8s tragedy so dole out that rope very slowly and stay on top of him. You know about the folly of youth and it only takes one stupid mistake you losing track of him at the wrong moment! I don't mean to scare you but, well you know what I mean! Again, that gift is just so awesome man! You two are going to spend a lot of great hours discovering planet earth on your E-Scooter's together! I have a suggestion. To me riding a great E-Scooter off-road is a lot more fun and exciting then on boring ol' asphalt! I mean it requires you to have an E-Scooter that's well designed for it like the Yume Hawk or the Varla Eagle 2.0 with all-terrain tires on it, or the Wolf King GT or better yet the GTR with the better rear suspension and the traction-control, but it's a TOTAL BLAST! I don't mean to knock regular street riding. It 8s definitely fun too and you get to see all the cool locations along the way and again there's meeting all the hopefully for the most part cool people, but man there's something super special about traversing off-road terrain of all types, inclines, declines, drops, jumps, and just experiencing mother nature in the great outdoors! Check out some YT vids of some of the content creators that do off-roading on their off-road oriented E-Scooter's. I think you'll see what I mean! Okay, looking forward to seeing more of your vids dude especially seeing what else you are going to do with you and your son and both of your totally awesome E-Scooter's! Later, later! 😎
Again, I really enjoyed this ride too. I lived in LA years ago. Like back in the early 70's. I lived on 1684 Lucile Avenue at the top of the hill where it dead ends into Effie. Also, before that I lived on Lucile Avenue on the other side of Sunset Blvd at 817 Lucile right across from the park. It's still painted Blue after all these years, lol. Then after Lucile we moved out to the valley to Granada Hills and I lived on the cul de sac on Harvest right off Rinaldi where the Granada Hills Little League is still today. Then we moved to Astoria Gardens apartments in Sylmar for a bit. I loved living in Southern California back then. In Granada Hills every yard was chocked full of fruit trees of all varieties. They had a lot of Orange and Lemon groves out there back then too. We could go and pick um right off the tree and fill out t-shirts full. But, it's those dang purple meat plums that were deep purple all the way to the pit that were so sweet, juicy and delicious that they had to be the fruit in the Garden of Eden that Satan coerced Eve to touch and eat both of which God had commanded that she and Adam never do! Those dang Plums were pure heaven! The Watermelons in SoCal were the sweetest I ever ate too! All the fruit vegetables were far superior to anything I have ever found since I left SoCal. Sadly, to me the damn liberals have been trying to kill most of what is good about Cali though, hope some conservatives can someday save it! In any case, I love that you give location updates along the way when you do your group rides. I remember a lot of of those places from back in the day. We used to go to the Griffith Park Observatory, the Zoo, and just the park too. I still remember the big fountain by the freeway. I think that its Interstate 5. We used to go on Hollywood Blvd. Of course back then it was still 0retty much safe to go there even at night. We used to go to the House of Pies about 2 blocks past what used to be a big lit up moving neon style Coca Cola sign. But, yeah, keep on revealing your location as you travel on your rides and and note any significant landmarks too if you will. I also like all the information about your E-Scooter too. I am very impressed with your setup you got it set up very nicely. That camera with screen is super cool, the TPMS, your mirrors, the extra bar and the bar light.. It's all very well done and looks great too. I am a big fan of JBL and I have always had a lot of the speakers for as long as I can remember. I am also a big audiophile. I currently have an kind of old-fashionedy surround sound system in my game room and it got a full accompaniment of badass JBL's and I can sit in the middle of the room next to the pool table and crank it up and it sounds like I am in a rock concert. I love it when you play good jams too, but I must admit I am a huge 60's and 70's classic rock fan, plus I love the New Wave bands of the 80's. Not too impressed with the music after the 80's. I mean there has been some decent music but nothing like we had from the 60's to the 80's! We really knew how to do music back then! I don't think you can play copywritten music during your ride video's can you for fear of YT demonitizing you right? Well, respond if you will or email me I already gave that to you in my previous post. Looking forward to your next video's. 😊
Okay I really enjoyed watching this ride. It looked like fun. I also like seeing all the tricked out PEV's and especially when folks amp up their ride with jams, that's cool.
@@jackcassandra65 thank you so much for the feedback, im really glad you enjoyed it. Im gonna continue to make more of theae group ride videos and post them up on the channel. 😁🙏
@artartpal same here, it was an awesome chill ride plus the food was great and we all got to chat it up. Super fun group ride and hang out for sure. 😁👊
Another great ride! I’ve seen that observatory many times in movies haha. The RS looks like a great scooter for long distance rides. You’ve got the range, tons of power if you need it, and a nice heavy platform for stability and comfort.
Id so be there if I lived out your way! Id be staying clear of those little guys poppin the wheelies, kids are unpredictable and kids with multi kilowatt bikes are downright terrifying hahaha
Again happy birthday to your kid man! It is a really cool birthday gift! And Of course it had to be fedex! U should’ve seen my segway gt2 i had a foot wide holes in my box, anyway good luck and best of wishes to ur kid!
@walterhernandez83 damn thats a large hole! I'd be concerned about missing screws and stuff. 😬 thank you very much for the best wishes. I hope everything is working out on the GT2. That GT2 is an awesome scooter. 😎👊
@@THEAVERAGEGUY1983 i gotta give it to segway, packaging was really good so nothing on the scooter was damaged, thank god cause segway says they’re not responsible on their website
You’re a fantastic father, setting him up for lots of fun while doing it the right way with safety. Scooter looks awesome and really well built! Also like that horn haha.
This was awesome my friend. I love seeing the smile on your son's face. Reminds me of my boy who is now 25. You've made him a very happy young man and that is a beautiful things. He'll see this video years from now and remember how wonderful of a dad he has. Happy birthday Chris. God bless you and your family. Love the channel. ♥
@ScootaGang 🥰👊 cool. I was told by another buddy to try our This brand called SENA but im not familiar with it. I figured i should watch some videos about it. Im still leaning more towards the cardo packtalk edge combo set.
@@THEAVERAGEGUY1983 to be honest, I would go Sena if you have the money. Our cardo has connectivity issues maybe 10% the rides when we go to use it. Have to turn it on and back off, or it will randomly switch to FM radio, random glitches etc. I've heard sena is better but haven't tried it yet ourself
Hello. I really like how you explain scooter parts and scooters. You do a Amazing job. I don't know if you know anything about Hiboy scooters. But I think it Would be cool if you could reach out to them to see if they would send you a scooter to review. Because you do a Amazing job .
@THEAVERAGEGUY1983 hey ive been enjoying your videos and wanted to send you a message directly but couldn’t find any other social media then youtube my question was your opinion on the rs long term and if you would do that or the nami burn e max cheers 😊
@Mluis95 hi, im glad you were able to ask this, i would absolutely do this again with the RS. I feel like it's going to last me a while. Based on its performance, i would definitely buy it again over any other scooter. The Nami Burn E Max is another excellent scooter too so i think i would just come down to the design choice and whether you need to be able to adjust the height of the handlebar so it feels better controlled and the height of the deck should you want to raise or lower it more to make your ride feel comfortable.
Another awesome ride 😎. Those low garage ceilings gave me some anxiety LOL. Great night footage btw. Even when the camera switched to being more grainy, it still looked infinitely better than my Hero 10 at night haha.
@TheHoneyDipz hi there, its actually 265 lbs for the Max G2. But you are definitely correct about weight limit and what it can do for a rider. Still a awesome scooter to get around but i highly recommend it gets used in a dedicated bike lane. 22Mph is too slow to be sharing the right lane specially if it doesn't have that bike lane mark on the pavement. Unfortunately car drivers just dont seem to respect that and foe some reason we aren'tsupposedto ride them in the sidewalk which is unfortunate as that would be another safe spot to ride more relaxed and conserve battery life for longer range.
@@THEAVERAGEGUY1983 You're right. The G2 I bought in Memphis is for the Canadian market and I've been confused since. I was 220 lbs when I bought it. I didn't know it could be changed to go 22mph till watching your video. I love mine. Because roads, sidewalks and drivers are so beat up and dangerous here I try to pick the safest place to be as I go. I bounce between bike lane and sidewalks. People have gotten hit on sidewalks and bicycles don't even pass walkers safely.
@TheHoneyDipz 😬 oh wow, that's bad about getting hit. About the 22Mph, im glad you found it useful. You might have another Master control update it should be V1.11.1 which will allow you to have Acceleration Boost. You would just need to go to the same page that lwys you adjust your sport mode max speed and under Acceleration Settings click on it and change it to Boost and it will give you like a 20% Acceleration boost for inclines. Just know that the scooter will be a little jerky due to the higher power output but you'll get used to it and if you dont like it because its a bit too aggressive, you can always change back to Max Speed.
Great video and thank you for your honesty. Would you have considered a JL Audio Fix 82 or 86 installed after your head unit and have that signal fed to your DSP then out to your amps? What do you think you spent alone on sound deadening? I have a Dodge Durango and am trying to factor in that cost. Thanks for your feedback.
@007galaxie yes absolutely! I actually did purchase a Fix86 but haven't installed it. I was recommended to install it inside the dashboard behind the Navigation screen as there is an empty pocket there where the fix 86 will fit but im not sure if ill have any issue with heat from the sun hitting the dashboard. So i haven't installed it yet, but i do have a brand new one. 😁👍 on sound deadening alone, i spent about $1,200.00 using both Knu Konceptz 100 mil deadening and then using Sound shield over that since it has a closed foam backing to reduce as much noise as possible.
