Did watch the first season. Have read most of JRRT books plus all the films and didn’t hate as much as most people did. Will be watching season 2 as well.

Elves are manogomous and I am not making this up. Only one, Finwe, remarried after the death of his wife Miriel. Celebrimbor was the last of the line of Finwe and Miriel, the line went extinct. The point is that infidelity is not part of the nature of Elves. Another break with cannon is that Elf men messed around with humans. So while it may be appealing to people who want game of thrones in middle earth. Sexcapades is a human activity.

I think that there was one particular scene which summarizes how strong the series has deviated from its core story: When one gay men makes himself tiny so he can jump into the penis hole of another gay men to tickle it from inside until the other gay men gets an orgasm and explodes lethally. A scene without any context. Without having anything to do with the story at all. One of many such scenes. I started watching this series because I thought that it was a story about super heroes with typical human traits and their problems with the rest of the society is interesting. No wonder that people start to dislike it, if the series becomes 50% gay porn. It's not even about disliking gays - it's simply about the fact that people don't get to watch a story that they expected to see but something completely different. If I want to watch a science fiction about aliens or action movie with explosions, I wouldn't expect to watch a romantic comedy about political ideologies. Butcher and Homelander are basically the only two really interesting characters that kept me watching. Karl Urban plays his badass role excellently.
Diversity in movies comes off like clonish. By clonish I mean clone. It's repetitive predictable and boring same old thing 🥱 😴 💤. I want to watch something whether it's a movie or a series that has suspense, happens to be unpredictable, and not at all a boring predictable piece of garbage in my opinion 😑. No more diversity please. None of these LGBT people on films are going to draw even more audience. The same goes for any race swap, Hispanic, Chinese, Japanese name Swap BS. Quite the contrary 😑. Inserting diverse characters of different groups of people names of whatever doesn't do anything for me entertainment wise. For me it's like staring at the ceiling for the rest of my life from the time I wake up to the time that I go to sleep 😑. I won't watch any movie or TV show that has any diversity this or diversity that 😑. I'm the boss 😑! I decide what I want to watch 😑! Not any of these work out of touch individuals films and TV shows by making them boring and predictable 😑. These individuals like to watch this kind of work garbage fine by me that should watch it if they like to 😑. I'm watching old Hollywood films from the 80s 90s and early 2000s that has nothing to do with this woke garbage that just keeps spreading onto films and TV shows 😑. I highly doubt that the majority of people in this planet will want to watch any movie or TV show that's woke and I am no exception 😑. The idea of race swaps is inherently segregation. Not only does this insult the represented group in question, it also ruins subversion and suspension of disbelief on a large scale. See Velma and live action TLM for example.
When Hollyweird execs have kids, everyone suffers because they give those kids roles and scripts and money and then those kids, who have never worked a day in their lives, have never had any kind of responsibility, who are still very much immature with the humor and intellect of a 13 years old boy, use that money to 'create' trash like 'Talladega Nights" and "Sausage Party". This generation of Seth's is proof of the nepotism and lack of standards in hollyweird. They are all silver spoon, no talent, rich pukes who couldn't act, write or direct their way out of a wet paper bag, yet here they are. It's like an entire generation of Nicholas Kim Coppolas.
The 'community' is so strong and creative, they replace characters instead of creating new ones... It's not about anything more than erasing a group of people, which is an actual goal of "The Struggle". Stop by a Nation of Islam meeting/seminar some time and you'll get to hear what a certain segment of the population really think of those they want to replace.
