Loved him then, love him now. He was so significant in so many pages of several chapters of my life all throughout college! Best memories EVER! 80s also best decade EVER!
He’s right this country is still homophobic to the point where it is safer to be undercover. Have had to physically fight people I thought were friends when I had foolishly been honest when they asked me where I had been. I have found out people that I thought were broad minded are the opposite when they find out what their friend does in bed.
Love this interview @BoyGeorge always did handle himself just fine no matter what questions were thrown at him and I just love every answer he gave !! And can we talk about his cuteness , my god I just love him !!! Not to mention his adorable hair style , he’s had so many and everyone looks fantastic on him !!!! Just love my Boy George always did and I always will ♥️🎩🎤🥰🫠🫠🫠🫠♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Blimey, this is a throwback! I can remember my dad who’s as straight as they come, a typical old fashioned man (who’s 93 now), so anti-gay, hearing or watching George sing around this time and was hooked on ‘her’, forever saying what a great voice ‘she’ has. I never had the heart to tell him otherwise so until this day in 2023 he still says what a gorgeous voice that woman singer called George has. Yes Dad!
I still cannot believe that I sat on my formica kitchen table in 1982, aged 10, and talked to my mum seriously, about whether George was a boy or girl. We really didn’t know. Such was the innocence of those days. We loved George, my sister was a HUGE Culture Club fan, and my mum is from Surbiton so when we were down at the Thames there we’d often see the Karma Chameleon paddle steamer go past with great excitement. Aspel is pretty typical of interviewers of the times here, getting the cheap laughs at his expense. He was and is such an intelligent individual, but very broken. I think we’re lucky he’s still around given so many of the Blitz Kids didn’t make it. And given that he was SO out there and outwardly unselfconscious way back then in a way that people still struggle with, and are judged for even now.
Do you you that boy george lies...alot, He only wanted " kiddies" not to loose female fans, since he knew that alot of his " crazy" fans were female. In reality if you saw the other video, he mentioned how he never, wants kids, he cant look after them, letalone his dogs, his hats, George personally said this. Many obessed crazy females, need to face reality!
You wont beleive it but I am sporting his haircut and when people tells me you look so modern and fresh😂 I just laugh and think this was from the 80s boy george invention and millenials wear it like its new lol kiss kiss boy george so ahead of your time alwaysss
I love Boy George and especially his style during the 1980´s. He has always been very outspoken and I love how his style during the 1980´s was something that people could make on their own and that you didn´t need to be rich to afford it. Would love just to meet him, because he always seems so sweet and easy to be around.
