Well it was a disappointment compared to last year, but we did get plenty for canning! I have 25 quarts done, & be making another round of canning tomorrow... Thanks
Making memories with his grandparents that will last forever. I wish I could work smarter, not harder, but just don’t have the equipment. I’ve just grown a few potatoes in pots so far, but it was a lot of fun with my grandaughter digging them up
I wish the camera had picked up Lincoln & my conversations! He was so excited! Well this is my first year using a tractor for potatoes, but all that rain we got beat that clay down like concrete...Thank you
One of the little boys next door to me is named Lincoln! I have a new grandaughter named Isabel. She was a beautiful surprise. My other grandaughter is 12!
I tried Abe's last year, didn't do well, but it's probably conditional, lol. Nice tomato weights! Looks like a couple Siamese ones, hee hee. God bless.
That's just the way Abe Lincolns grow, rough shaped with a big core. But they have a great taste, & will make good sauce. Tomorrow is tomato canning day... I've been working on beans & potatoes... I thought 1 3/4 lb was good, but i've had them to grow larger.. thanks God Bless
I gambled & hit the prime time to grow this year! And both varieties are large tomatoes & great flavored. I don't care what shape they are either. I will be making my first tomato sauce canning this weekend. Thanks
Heck Yeah. Thanks for the shout out. Nice tomatoes. With this heat I only have 2 tomatoes left that are still growing and green. The rest are in the freezer.
Looking goo Brett. You've got a lot growing in there among the grass! We're getting things going in Moms garden and it looks like my garden in Florida is finally getting some rain - guess it was waiting for me to leave.
Its dry here, just hoping the weather channel is right about a little rain on wed...Im still digging potatoes, just not as good as last year. Everything is doing good except the potatoes & Canary melon. Thanks my friend!
Thank you! Its something to play with. I had some bad luck with my normal potato patch this year. I will prob plant more as I can, to have some fresh taters to eat.
I planted just one old potato cut into four pieces, given to me by a neighbor. Three of them came up but then all promptly died in the heat and drought.
It’s been so dang wet in our area and with Donald working we missed out on an early garden but may I can get him to build us some raised beds where I can not worry about how wet the ground is. Carrots look great. Lisa
Oh dang your garden is amazing so far! Your plants are way ahead of ours. We have been picking Sweet Success cucumbers it's our favorite early cucumber. Heck we haven't even planted our big garden yet because of the rain and the cover crop put us behind. Thanks for sharing and have a great day!

Hi cindy I have fnd I have bother walking I started with a walking stick now its a frame it affects my right side yes I get spasms and my leg goes rigid my nerves are brick hard stiff and heavy before fnd yes I was also out and about but now I'm hot if I need to go out I use taxis between my legs its like a spiders web and nerves acting like a pull cord the pain is excruciating and at times its that bad you want to pass out this is my 5th year with this I've tried different nerve pain medication but nothing worked this time last year I was out for walks with my walking stick I even decorated my bedroom but now I can't I was even doing exercises but I'm now not able i can't believe how this condition is so disabling yes its had a huge impact on my mental health moods irritable etc I have had a few suicide attempts because of not coping with this condition im so fed up im Hardy out the door now due to pain discomfort and how the nerves are affecting me it was good to hear you I can't use bright light light either take care sam
Thank you for commenting! Cindy is having a bad day... This is Brett, We are so sorry your having to live with this condition too. Just know your not alone! We understand , this has been hard mentally for the both of us. We made this video to reach out to others that have this fight...We hope to exchange info on things each of us do to make life better! Cindy goes to counseling a couple times a month, She has been in physical Therapy, the last few weeks from her left hand drawing to the point its stretched/ inflamed something in her arm. Figuring out your triggers, & staying/ moving away from them also. She wears dark glasses( like you get from eye surgery) when out where there's bright lights, head phones or ear plugs, & she uses a wheel chair when she leaves the house! Cindy said find something you like you can veg in... She watches sports...Thank you so much, We will be praying for you!
Hi cindy brett thanks for replying to me this condition is just its a nightmare I just can't believe how disabling this is I was using a stick now its a walking frame but the way the nerves are they hate me wearing trainers as they get sqashed and it affects my mobility further I see a phycolagist most weeks they say about re training the brain im bad I do a lot of body scanning I try not to but its difficult also with this condition youmfeel very alone and isolated but look after yourself if you want keep in touch sam
@@SamHamilton-xr4rz Idk if trauma is the major factor or not... But Everyday is a new day, A doctor or Scientist could make a break thru. We both pray for the Lord to Intervene, or heal this, or someone to help or reverse this condition.Don't dwell on the can'ts but enjoy the Cans!
