Hi King, Unfortunately I would not be able to tell you specifically what wires you need to connect to where because headunits and canbus decoders vary. Does your headunit (if its already connected) does it switch to reverse camera input and show blank screen when you put the car in reverse?
Yeah, let's run some sketchy random ass .exe file from a overseas vendor I've never heard of to update a screen which is hooked directly to my car's canbus network. WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?!
The Trigger is from the reverse line to the main unit! To activate the screen in reverse mode. Not the other way around like you've said! You are misleading the newbies!
I need support from France as well. Unfortunately it does not work with the 13Mo microSD provided with the product. It is formated in FAT instead of FAT32. Once I copy the new version of the firmware and plug the microSD in the device nothing happen. :( Do I have to buy a bigger microSD formated in FAT32? @jnbreton4560, did you use another microSD?
Hi Stuart, I checked with the seller today and they said they are in the process of adding a new catalogue item. I will update the link once they release the new product.
Hi Matiss, I wouldnt have thought the X1 is firmware-updateable. However when I checked the seller’s product page for the X1, it did say it’s possible. So I have now sent them a message and asked if they have a new X1 firmware compatible with the latest Tesla software. Hopefully they will respond…
This thread has explained why my yellow battery icon stays in all the time on yonzee guessing it’s the Tesla update that broke this feature. Kinda annoyed as I replaced my 12v battery thinking maybe it was time to now I just received V2 model hud and reading it also is gonna have same battery icon or discrepancies with now resolution in sight from any of the manufacturers 😂😢😂 also can you show the intel plug in options?
@@AutosNGizmos I found it. It’s the same plugs on the passenger side so it’s the amd connector marked copilot side after watching V2 recommended spot to plug in under glovebox led me to not having that plug in there I went to what I knew from other installs in the passenger b pillar. Thanks.

Hi there, yes they are all affected following the rollout of 2024.20.1. Unfortunately, I still have not received the updated firmware for the V2 and X2. But good news is that the Yonzee has the updated firmware which is compatible with the new Tesla software release. I have created a short video (with the updated firmware download link). You can go check it out in this link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7cAiPbO9FR4.html
@@AutosNGizmos thanks. I just installed the V2 so I would love to get that updated as it’s far superior to the Yonzee’s and does not block the air flow like yonzee does. I know my battery is not 100% like the display says and just won’t trust that part. But the mileage is correct. Please keep us posted on the V2. Thanks.
@@AutosNGizmos subscribed and awaiting the update news! I also opened a ticket with tbuff on alix for this so if I get a reply I’ll post here in comments as well.
@@AutosNGizmos have v2 come back with anymore update information? I have heard nothing from aliX except they will offer return of my V2. I don’t want that I want the firmware updated!! Thanks. 🙏
This worked perfectly! Thank you for the fast deployment. The turn signals work again and the bright lights blue led is not always on. This works with the 2023 Tesla model 3, after the 2024 software update 12.
@@AutosNGizmos Im not hating on teslas, some things they make not too bad, but Tesla is NOT a car manufacturer, its a tech company, as seen by failures of teslas which are unheard of in 99% of all other cars, in fact if some things happening to teslas would be possible on other cars, they would not even be allowed to be driven on the street. EVs are just overhyped and overrated anyways, we need better batteries, MUCH better ones before we can say EVs will help in anything. As long there are Lithium based batteries in there with a lifespan of 5-15 years (in the BEST CASE!!!!), those EVs are more of a problem than a solution.
@@AutosNGizmos Im absolutely not against EVs as well, in fact im for it - im an electrical engineer and did not only personal research and testing on some stuff, especially batteries, but also in work for many years. electric propulsion is something nice and needed - to keep the noise level in cities lower, less stinky stuff there etc, but nowadays i would not build more than 5kWh batteries for personal transport - in other words... nothing bigger than a lets say moped car, better even just small scooters and e bikes, micromobility basically. For a single 85kWh Model S battery you could build about 60 high speed, high range performance scooters. Go into the more used micromobility with lets say 300-600Wh batteries, you are towards 150-300 scooter/e-bike batteries for a single tesla battery. No sense in driving around with 1,5 tons of batteries when you can do it with 0,02 tons and much less tire wear (and dust!)
To be fair, the issue this guy is trying to fix isn't really Tesla's fault. It's a third party addition to the car, not an actual product/feature produced by Tesla.
This Blind Spot Monitor only operates with the Turn signal ON. It needs to be functional at all times on the road as every other auto does. There are times when you don't have time to turn on a blinker but still need to know if something is in your Blind Spot. So far I have only seen Teslogic with the BSM always on.
Hi Peter, thanks for watching the video. Unfortunately, the seller for that HUD still has not come up with the updated firmware. They’ve been responding to my follow up questions though so hopefully it wont be long now🤞
Hello i also that symptom so i wanna get firmware file. But I have no idea where to get it. Where did you get that file? Oh I found your Google drive address😂
Hello about the v2 mini car lcd display since update 2024.20.1(M3) I have the battery 100% every time (it's wrong the reel value is 68 %), if you have any news from the supplier I am interested
Hi David, I have contacted the seller a couple of days ago and they are still working on a fix. Once I have it, I will share this with everyone coupled with a how-to video. Hopefully it wont be long to go. So far, I’ve received the new firmware for the Yonzee and Tesery units but none for the V2 and X2 ☹️
Hello , since update 2024.20.1 (tesla model 3) , the battery in % is wrong (77% displayed on the screen instead of 94%) as well as the number of km remaining (999km instead of 394km). Do you have an update to suggest? Thank you
Hi Chris, I am in direct contact with one of the Aliexpress sellers for this device. They are currently investigating this for me. I will share the result of their investigation in this community as soon as they come back so stay tuned 😊
Does anyone know how to reset the X2 for Tesla? It’s the smallest one. I’ve had it installed for over 6 months and have had no issue, but my model Y updated to 2024.20.1 today and now the battery on the HUD only shows 100% all the time. Everything else normal but kind of annoying that it shows 100% battery instead of what it is actually.
Hi Raj, Your car is probably one of the few cars who received that update so you might have better luck if you reach out to the seller directly. I will try to contact them too to find out if they have a new firmware update.
I also don’t know how to reset or update it. I’ve sent a message to the seller in Aliexpress and hopefully I’ll get a response soon. Once I do, I will let you know what they say
I have a pink wire on the Canbus that is directly below the brown wire it's labeled "Parking" would this wire be 12v that I can connect the red wire too without cutting the brown from the Canbas?
Hay I have problem with rear cam I am installing it right now and something isnt corect. I have pics all the time no matter on reverse I cinnected with pink wire on radio conectir and on cam side i connect with lighter conector on back of the car. Is that lighter conector gives 12v constantly, maybe that is the problem
Hi Ds Ms, Yeah it sounded like you are sending constant power to the headunit tricking it that reverse gear is engaged. Try to find a power source that turns On when the car is in reverse gear. It can be the 12v reverse gear trigger on the canbus decoder or the reverse lamp on the tail lights. Good luck 🍀
Yes, thats another option. But probably using the phone for turn-by-turn navigation on long drives unplugged to a power source will probably drain its battery before you reach your destination. If you do decide to use your phone like this, make sure to set your phone to ‘Do Not Disturb’ so you don’t get distracted by any notifications while driving. Drive safe!
What seems to be the problem? 1) Is the headunit switching to the reverse camera video feed and you see a blank screen? 2) Is the headunit NOT switching to the reverse camera feed?
Yeah that will also work. But having a phone mount on a car is so 80’s imo 😁 Tesla just need to give is a second screen for the driver (or a real head-up display) but instead, they will probably give us a second screen for the rear passengers 😂
Hi @r0ckoon, yes it should fit as I have other viewers install this on their c230k. However, it is best to confirm this with the seller. One thing I would note is that if your car has the Harman Kardon speakers, you might need to install a separate device to convert analogue to digital audio. But make sure to inform the seller what type of speaker you have. Have a look at this other video where the guy installs a fire-optic converter on his Merc with the Harman Kardon speakers (around the 14-minute mark) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k6Gfd7UHMSo.html
Thank you for the insightful review! Your detailed analysis and honest feedback are greatly appreciated. We are delighted to see how much you enjoyed using TESERY 6.2'' Dashboard Screen Display and how it added value to your experience. Your insights and opinions are valuable to us and our community! 😊👍
@AutosNGizmos you showed us where you connected the black ground wire, but you did not show us where you connected the red power wire thats next to it on the wire that is on the red connector that connects to the camera
Yeah, sorry totally overlooked that one. I did use that red wire so in the interest of clarity, I have posted a photo showing where to connect it. Thanks for highlighting this. ru-vid.comUgkxV3Xr8AjSp4oONv9Ux5NMqZruuNCFuvek
Nicely done. I think the title says it best too. I formed this opinion after my first drive though. I immediately tried to adjust the headrests back. I figured they could be adjusted, and I’d just figure it out later after looking through the manual. Surprise: They can’t be adjusted. Jon Osborne did a video in 2019 showing how to bend them backwards called “Tesla Model 3 headrest removal and modification.” Osborne actually demonstrates how to bend the headrest seat posts to get a better angle, but a read through the comments reveals that it is actually possible (and much simpler) to just flip the headrest around so that it arches away from the head. It’s now more difficult to release the headrests on Teslas made after 2020 though because the clips holding the posts are shoved further down - probably to prevent this sort of alteration. But it’s still doable. The flipped headrest does not click back into place, so it’s probably not going to hold if you flip the car. I personally have the very same pillows you’re showing here. They seemed comfy at first, but they really bothered my neck after a full day of use. The quest continues.
Hi mrmeach1967, Yes I watched those videos too right after my first road-trip on my Model Y because that’s when I noticed it. I didn’t go down the route of bending or installing it in reverse as it looks drastic. I was actually hoping they would redesign them when the new Model 3 came out but alas, they didnt :( I like how Tesla is innovating and adapting new design but they also need to respect what has long been considered tradition and improve on it rather than eliminating in favour of margins.
