It would be easier to gauge the quality of the sounds and the dynamic layers if the dynamics wheel were controlled musically, in a way that makes sense based on the phrase, rather than just wiggling it randomly, if you know what I mean. At times it sounds like there's a sudden volume drop but it's actually the dynamics being pulled down during quick passages or in what should be crescendos.
Christopher, seems my post, recommendation was deleted? please review the Insanity Samples Cello, i think it tops most or all of these here, (are we allowed to post link?). thx
Sympathetic resonance just means that a passive string (one that isn't being played) starts to vibrate from a note that is played on another string or another instrument near by.
I didnt expect to watch this whole video in one sitting, but the musical ideas, the wild creativity slowly getting more and more focused, plus your excellent commentary really made this an exciting look into your process. Great notes i can take from this
The unknown about what the cost of M2 will be and how much new content to expect makes the choice somewhat hazy and kind of a gamble. Will it be M2, 3 and so on or will it just be a charge for some new content added to M1? And what is the schedule for the coming updates? The $100 a year could be the better deal depending on the timing of each uodate and what the new content actually is because that $100 a year gets you M1 and future updates for free. So it's obviously between $100 a year or perpetual but perpetual is only good for what the content is right now which is a lot, granted. But I could end up really wanting new content that comes too. So the buy in remains a gamble at the moment.
I just have concerns that musio aka CineSamples might get people excited, then the shoe drops of them saying they are closing shop and pull the rug from under people. This is why I usually stay away from cloud based things. Not to mention the amounts of subscriptions for things these days, people are certainly getting tired of. People are going to end up not owning anything anymore and companies can just close shops and people are left out in the cold without any products they've invested in. THIS is why I do my best to stay away from subscription based stuff. Pretty soon, we all are going to need a subscription just to breathe. Or pay $20 for each time we blink. People like to own their purchases because they work hard to earn their money, and money doesn't grow on tree's. Basically, I am just waiting for the Catch-22 to appear and the shoe to drop. Sorry to sound miserable, but I've been burnt by other companies a few times already.
Cool video! I like very much the ideia of creating the outlines of the piece firt of all. I do the same. In my humble opinion, the bass, the bass can be considered the second most importante melody. The ear pics more easily the high and low notes....In my arrangements, I like to make both, melody and bass, very connected. Thanks for the video! Great tips and insights!
Major show tune vibes from this one! I especially love your use of orchestral textures combined with the majestic electric guitar. Vocal work is top notch as well. Thanks for sharing your music with us, Christopher!
Sir, you have created a masterpiece! This could easily compete on the Broadway stage. Your voice is excellent, strong and full of emotion. Congratulations!!! A beautiful intro; Your voice is clear and bell-like - topnotch. Nice cello figure at 2:00. I liked how you ended this first one... simple piano and voice. I'd do the same! This second one, "I Like You..?" is peppey , catchy. I liked your mix of the choral in "Next To You". "Music Universal Language" very touching. Nice vocals on the reggae "Into the Wild". "Hands Up" makes one want to dance. "Indecision" Nice arrangement and catchy tune; excellent vocal control!. "Headlights" is groovy! : "The answer" is inspiring and a great ending. Encore, Bravo!!!
The compositions and productions are really top notch! It's hard to explain, but the vibes in your videos are captured in each of these songs. As another person mentioned, the blend between genres is great. My favorites are "Indecision" and I love the "noisy" vocal pad that plays through the first half of "Live My Life". Happy birthday and congrats again on the album release 🥳🎂🥳
Loved listening to this. Headlights and Music is a Universal Language were the standouts for me! I liked how you blended orchestral with pop and Broadway influences throughout. Can’t wait to listen again!
