Very informative watching how you use it. As a relative beginner wih Kontakt 7 (full version), is there any way you can stop it from closing up your selected instrument window in Rack View? So for example, Chris you had Panorama Guitars selected with it's window open showing it's NKI on the left. I find Studio One, if I open a second instance of Kontakt on a second track, then go back to my first instance, the rack view has completely closed up again and shows the first instrument available, rather than how it looked before messing with another track. So wonder if there's an option that stops that behaviour as I do find it annoying? Thanks
Good, helpful information, as always. I also haven't found a great advantage for using multiple instruments in a single instance of kontakt? Maybe if my RAM was limited? I'm not sure. Thanks!
I use multiple instruments mostly in templates. For example, loading up 10-16 percussion libraries and choosing the 1 or 2 I want to use for the track I'm working on. I use it mostly as a reminder to remember I have those instruments to use (I've forgotten about plugins I own. LOL)
Hi Chris, what is your preferred upright bass library for jazz? Native instruments upright bass are shown in this video. Did you like it? If you know a better alternative, can you recommend it?
To assign any of Kontakt Player's sliders or knobs to a MIDI controller: Right-click the knob or slider you want to assign. Select Learn MIDI CC# Automation. Turn the knob or move the slider on the MIDI device. The control detects the movement instantly and the parameter is assigned to the MIDI controller.
