I bought one of these about 5 years ago and still have it. Same color as this one, same headliner and visor issues too lol. Only difference I can see is mine has the "premium sound" with an external amp and "deluxe" AM/FM cassette, and cruise control. I'm the third owner, second owner bought in 1996 from the Ford dealer with 6k on the odometer and had 90k on it when I bought it. I bought it because of a transportation emergency at the time, but it's my spare car now because I don't want to get rid of it. It's slow and boring but still a reliable and fairly comfortable utilitarian ride.
I have this car this exact one now my golden metal snake baby, id sell for 10 grand 10 for the golden year. The stereo is SOSSOSO GOOOD, if u actually like this kinda stuff
I know this video was done 10 years ago but I wanted to comment that the seats do flatten all the way down. How you might ask? In the back seat behind the passenger side there is a gray strap sticking out where seatbelts are; you want to pull on that which brings the bottom seat up so you can lay them flat. If you have an owners manual it will explain it.
It turns out either the pump was bad, the fluid hasn’t been changed, or it was probably low. So with my 2013 ford edge, it was not only dirty, it was almost low too, so I flushed it out a few times, it becomes red instead of black. Mine was working fine and no longer makes noise anymore. I think mine was dirty and hasn’t been changed after all these years. If your car was acting like that and wasn’t the case, there could be other things to check for concerns for more than one thing to the other
Great video. Only thing I would add is to pop the handle out of the door card before placing it back on the door. I kept getting the handle too high where it engages to metal while trying to fenagle everything in place. When I did the other side, putting the handle in afterwards made re-assembly much easier.
