@@tatyrdrgz thanks for getting back to me for my 2 posts. I’ve been watching your videos because I was limited in my use of the GEM. Now I can do some other dishes. 😁❤️. Your yellow rice looks so good. Even though I’m only cooking for myself, I can make a batch of rice and freeze some!
Like your videos. One question I have - why do you put oil in with your rice? I have never seen that. When I make rice, it’s just water and rice with a small amount of salt. Thank you. ❤️
I have a similar Aroma multi cooker and I use it to just cook several chicken breasts to shred for the freezer. It’s always dry but I’m afraid I won’t cook it to a safe temp if I don’t cook long enough. I’ve been using the slow cooker setting but maybe I should use another setting. The slow cook seems to be more high than low and it doesn’t adjust. Beats me.
@@aileyaddams Hi thanks for watching. The practice make the perfection lol!! Is true, don't have settings to adjust the temperature at least. Only have high or low. So i like to use the high mode for many hours depending on the size of the meat. Hope this helps !!
@@tatyrdrgz My old Aroma cooker with a glass lid had “high” and “low” for slow cooking but it finally went to small appliances Heaven 😭 and I sure miss it. I don’t like this new one as well because it only has one high setting for slow cook. But, I cut way back on my cooking time and the chicken was still ok. Wonder how it would work on a rice cook steam setting. I’ll put a new battery in my meat thermometer and check it next time. You are right - experiment until it’s good, lol. Thanks for answering!
I just got my cooker today and found your video. Looks good, I will have to try it. I took Spanish in college and remember just enough to understand what I need to in order to follow along. Thank you for posting.
That’s you I watches the past 1 and part 2 love itttttt im a new mom by the way so for the veggies it’s so easy for me and fast because im always busy with my baby and things in the house
That looked delicious I’ve just brought an aroma rice cooker so far I’ve made sushi rolls, but I’m going to try the spaghetti with the Latino spices. This may be out of line but you are very very cute. So glad I’ve found you on RU-vid already subscribed!
What's the green stuff in the large plastic container? What is the red stuff in the jar? Everything is reversed, so it's hard to read even the things that have labels.
The green stuff is called (sofrito) is made with green pepper, red pepper, onion, seasoning, cilantro and others blender together. You can buy it already made at the grocery. The red stuff in the jar is homemade (tomato sauce) you can get it at store already made 😊 Thanks for watching ❤
Hi Taty! Thanks for the tip! Here's another one...use a fork to pull the leaves away from the stems; it's a lot faster. Also, the stems are loaded with flavor and nutrients, too; so chop them and use them, as well, in soups, stews, salads, smoothies, etc. Or just chop the stems and leaves together like I do. 😉👍🏾👍🏾
