I was let down by leavenworth for xmas. For a "german town", where are all the german hot drinks? There's barely any stalls or anything really to do. Shops like the gingerbread shop/sausage place should be capitalizing on this by also having a stall, no one wants to wait an hour for gingerbread.There should be a hot drink adult drinking area (germans have 100s of hot xmas drinks) with area heaters everywhere or a tent. There needs to be more kids things to do than sled down a 3ft snow bank. Patios need to be extended further into the road for restaurants (similar to what's needed during oktoberfest) I think the mayor needs to visit Germany around xmas time to get some inspiration.Leavenworth is a go to for oktoberfest but not for xmas. Any big city xmas market is better than Leavenworth. The real german beer and beer tents make the city a go to for oktoberfest. This is what the town waits for all year, but really under delivered in every way.
Wow, this is Super Gorgeous!!! I visited Leavenworth last Sept 2022, it's one of the loveliest places I have ever seen. From the streets to shops and restaurants, delicious food and yummy German Pastries 😋 And the friendly folks with their dogs everywhere 😍 I loved it! I was watching it then it just turned off their website says “our apologies, our web cams are down”? Hopefully they get this fixed its kind if a family tradition to watch the live cam leading up to the family trip right before Christmas
For what it’s worth thank you for these videos especially the live I used to live in Wenatchee and worked at crunchpak I miss going through there it reminds me of happy times now I’m 3000 miles away😢
